Seth Rollins suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury during his bout against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel.
As a result, WWE’s plans have had to change.
On the October 13 edition of Raw, The Vision came to an abrupt end in its current form, as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on their faction leader, kicking Rollins out of the group.
When Rollins returns from injury, it seems inevitable he’ll come after Breakker and Reed – but who could he align with to do it? Here are five potential new tag team partners for Rollins.
5. Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns’ WWE careers are forever intertwined.
Emerging together in The Shield, they’ve spent much of the past 12 years both teaming with – and feuding against – one another.
They’ve been actively at odds again since WrestleMania this year, with The Vision repeatedly targeting and successfully taking Reigns out.
When Rollins returns to confront his former faction partners, we could very well see him reunite with his original ally – Roman Reigns.

4. LA Knight
LA Knight is another WWE star that Seth Rollins has recently been feuding with.
After clashing over the Money in the Bank briefcase in June, the two have been at odds ever since – with Knight suffering multiple beatdowns at the hands of Rollins’ former faction members, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Rollins is certain to return from injury as a babyface, and we could well see him attempt to mend fences with Knight to take on their common enemies.
The big question, however, is whether Knight will still be a babyface by the time Rollins returns.

3. CM Punk
On the subject of mending fences with common enemies – could Seth Rollins’ return bring about the unthinkable?
Could Rollins actually look to ally with CM Punk?
The pair have been feuding in WWE since the very start of the year in a heated rivalry that’s featured steel cages, betrayals, cash-ins, and even involvement from their respective spouses.
A potential tag team between the two seems highly unlikely, but that could make it even better.

2. Austin Theory
One of the more eyebrow-raising pieces of news last week was that Austin Theory was soon set to join The Vision.
Theory, who has been out with an injury after spending much of the past year in a tag team with Grayson Waller, may have seemed an unlikely candidate for the company’s top heel faction, but Paul Heyman has long been advocating for Theory behind the scenes.
With Rollins’ injury, the question now is whether we’ll still see Theory added to the group alongside Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.
If not, WWE could instead choose to push Theory by pairing him with a returning Seth Rollins – reuniting them after their brief time together in 2020 – to take on Breakker and Reed.

1. Cody Rhodes
Seth Rollins’ injury was suffered during his standout main event bout with Cody Rhodes, occurring after he hit a spectacular coast-to-coast headbutt on Rhodes.
Rollins and Rhodes share a storied history in WWE – both as rivals and as allies.
It was their rivalry that reintroduced Rhodes to WWE following his return from AEW, culminating in an outstanding trilogy of matches before the two eventually teamed up to face Bloodline members Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 40.
Given that shared history, Cody Rhodes appears to be the most likely partner for Rollins to turn to when he’s ready to return and take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
