CM Punk
On the September 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
This win came as a result of an “accidental” title belt shot from Kevin Owens to Punk.
Then in response, Punk cost Owens the title in his bout against Zayn on the September 18 SmackDown.
While he will compete in a Money In The Bank Qualifying Match on the September 25 SmackDown, it could be Punk who gets his rematch against Zayn at the October 10 event.
Johnny Gargano
Prior to winning the Undisputed WWE Championship, Sami Zayn seemingly promised Johnny Gargano a title opportunity.
However, Zayn seemed apprehensive to give Gargano a title shot after his big win.
After a conversation backstage, Gargano once again helped Sami in his title bout against Kevin Owens on the September 18 episode of SmackDown.
Now that Owens and CM Punk have been vanquished, Sami Zayn could finally give “Johnny Wrestling” his second Undisputed WWE Championship opportunity at Money In The Bank 2026.
Randy Orton
Randy Orton has made it no secret that he is on the hunt for his 15th world title.
While he failed to win at WrestleMania 42, Orton is back and more focused than ever to get the championship.
After several teases with Sami Zayn in recent weeks, “The Legend Killer” could easily position himself to get his coveted title shot.

On the September 18 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
This win came thanks to CM Punk interfering to cost Owens the title here.
After being screwed by Punk, KO should be more determined than ever to get his hands on Zayn.
