On Friday, September 12, WWE and AAA will present their second Worlds Collide premium live event of the year from Las Vegas.
The show will feature talent from WWE and Lucha Libre AAA competing with and against each other in a showcase of the lucha libre style.
With the last WWE & AAA Worlds Collide PLE and the recent TripleMania XXXIII event, there are now some stories that can find their conclusion at the upcoming event.
Here are our predictions for the card for WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.
El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio – AAA Mega Championship
At AAA TripleMania XXXIII, El Hijo del Vikingo defeated Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano in a four-way to retain the AAA Mega Championship.
The finish saw AJ Styles get involved in the matchup and cost Mysterio the title after a Styles Clash that led to Vikingo picking up the win.
After his challenge following TripleMania, “Dirty Dom” has been granted a rematch with Vikingo, this time one-on-one at WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.
This should be the main event of the show and it should be interesting to see if Vikingo continues to get loud boos from this Las Vegas crowd like he has in Mexico as of late.

Omos & Microman vs. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa)
At the AAA TripleMania XXXIII event, Omos won the Copa Bardahl in the battle royal.
During the course of the bout, Omos had a memorable “staredown” with Microman and inadvertently helped the micro star pin WWE’s Otis.
After the buzz generated from their interaction at TripleMania, Omos could team with Microman against Alpha Academy’s Otis and Akira Tozawa.
Seeing the size difference between Omos and Microman facing off with an always entertaining Alpha Academy could make for a fun special attraction match on the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide card.

Natalya vs. Faby Apache
Natalya has made her way over to Lucha Libre AAA, adding to a long list of companies outside of WWE she has appeared in so far this year.
The Hart Family member has found herself with a new enemy in the form of Faby Apache after both women failed to win the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in a three-way against Lady Flammer at AAA TripleMania XXXIII.
Natalya and Faby got into a brawl post match and looked to still have some animosity against one another that needs to be settled.
Seeing the more serious side of Nattie Neidhart at WWE & AAA Worlds Collide could help to continue the momentum this character has and give one of AAA’s stalwarts of the women’s division in Apache a big spotlighted match.

Psycho Clown & Pagano (c) vs. Los Garza (Angel & Berto) vs. Dos Americanos (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) vs. Andrade & Rey Fenix – AAA World Tag Team Championships
Back at the first WWE & AAA Worlds Collide in June, Legado Del Fantasma started a rivalry with Psycho Clown and Pagano that has continued over to Mexico.
Psycho and Pagano finally picked up a win over Legado’s Angel and Berto in a Street Fight to win the AAA World Tag Team Championships at AAA TripleMania XXXIII.
Meanwhile, the El Grande Americano character has expanded to feature more stars under their own mask, being referred to as Dos Americanos when they got involved in the TripleMania four-way main event.
Finally, Andrade and Rey Fenix have become the hottest new duo over on the SmackDown brand. Putting all four of these teams in a bout for the AAA World Tag Team Champions would be very intriguing to watch unfold at WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Mr. Iguana, Niño Hamburguesa, La Hiedra & Zelina Vega
One of the main highlights of AAA TripleMania XXXIII was the presence of The Judgment Day in different matches on the card.
While Dominik Mysterio came up short of winning the AAA Mega Championship, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Mr. Iguana, Niño Hamburguesa and Lola Vice in a trios match at the event.
After this rivalry was born, fans could see another multi-person bout featuring The Judgment Day at WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.
Balor, McDonagh, Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez can all come to compete, while on the other side of the ring could be opponents from both AAA and WWE with Iguana, Hamburguesa, La Hiedra and Zelina Vega in Las Vegas.

Lady Flammer (c) vs. Lola Vice – AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Lola Vice make her way over to Mexico to appear on Lucha Libre AAA events.
Despite taking the loss in a trios match at AAA TripleMania XXXIII, Vice could build some momentum in the weeks to come in Mexico to get in the mix for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
The WWE NXT star has become someone who has been highlighted on AAA and feels like the kind of talent who would benefit from getting more reps in front of their audience.
Feeling like a threat to the over 735 day reign of Lady Flammer, Lola is a strong candidate to dethrone the longtime champion on a major stage like WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. Santos Escobar – AAA Latin American Championship
At AAA TripleMania XXXIII, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated El Mesias to win the AAA Latin American Championship.
This felt like a significant victory with Dr. Wagner III feeling like a future breakout star for the company since coming over after his successful run in Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH.
After capturing the gold, the masked luchador could try to avenge his loss at the last WWE & AAA Worlds Collide where Santos Escobar pinned him for Legada Del Fantasma to pick up a win over Dr. Wagner III, Pagano and Psycho Clown.
A singles encounter with El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Santos Escobar would be a competitive battle that could go either way under the bright lights in Vegas.
