Coming off the heels of the WWE NXT Deadline premium live event, there is a new landscape for the entire brand after Oba Femi dethroned Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship.
With the year coming to a close, 2026 should hold a world of possibilities for every NXT championship on the show.
Looking at the roster, there are plenty of options to be the next holder for pretty much every title on the brand that could change hands over the course of the next 12 months.
Here are the potential next holders of every WWE NXT championship.
NXT Women’s Championship – Sol Ruca
At NXT New Year’s Evil 2026, Jacy Jayne will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against the women’s Iron Survivor winner, Kendal Grey.
However, one of the competitors that Grey was able to get past could be the one who will eventually end Jayne’s reign as NXT Women’s Champion.
Looking at the field, it looked like Sol Ruca was an odds-on favorite to win the Iron Survivor and go on to face Jayne for the gold.
Coming off the heels of her pinfall win over Jayne in six-woman tag team action on the December 2 episode of WWE NXT, Sol should be considered the star who has what it takes to overcome Jayne for the title down the line.

NXT Women’s North American Championship – Jordynne Grace
Earlier this year, Jordynne Grace thought she found a new friend in Blake Monroe until she was betrayed at WWE Evolution 2025.
Following this betrayal, Grace and Monroe took part in a heated rivalry that culminated in a weaponized steel cage match at WWE NXT Heatwave.
While Jordynne Grace picked up the victory, Monroe went on to become the first of the two to win singles gold on the WWE NXT brand.
Grace dethroning Monroe for the NXT Women’s North American Championship would make a ton of sense considering all the potential that ‘The Juggernaut’ held when she first signed with WWE.

NXT North American Championship – Myles Borne
Ethan Page has become one of WWE’s best wrestlers of 2025 with the former AEW star reaching new heights in the company.
This reign as NXT North American Champion has firmly cemented Page as one of the very best that the brand has to offer.
A few months back, Page tried to give advice to Myles Borne about going out on his own to be a singles star.
This could be some foreshadowing for Borne to finally break out and win championship gold by taking the North American Title from Page at some point.

WWE Speed Championship – Charlie Dempsey
On the November 11 edition of WWE NXT, Jasper Troy defeated El Grande Americano to win the WWE Speed Championship.
Troy has been a dominant force for the NXT brand since earning himself a contract after winning season one of WWE LFG.
There are plenty of stars on the NXT roster that could potentially step up to the plate next to challenge Jasper Troy in a big time title bout.
Charlie Dempsey is someone with a style that could work extremely well in the Speed division where he could pull out some wins with a quick submission or pinning combination.

WWE Speed Women’s Championship – Kendal Grey
At WWE NXT Deadline 2025, Kendal Grey defeated Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Jordynne Grace and Sol Ruca to win the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
Thanks to this win, Grey will now challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil.
While she will have her chance at the NXT Women’s gold, Grey might be better suited for another title on the brand right now.
Considering her fast paced, technical style inside the squared circle, the current WWE Evolve Women’s Champion would be a seamless fit in the Speed division where her impressive quickness in the ring could lead to success.

NXT Tag Team Championship – OTM
OTM recently made their return to the WWE NXT brand after several months away with injury.
Since making their return, it has become clear that Bronco Nima and Lucien Price plan on tearing through every other tag team until they make their way to the NXT Tag Team Championship.
In their absence, DarKState has risen to prominence with the duo of Saquon Shugars and Osiris Griffin currently holding the NXT Tag Team Championship.
A showdown between DarkState and OTM would be very interesting considering both groups’ aggressive styles that could lead to an all-out brawl that ends with Lima and Price winning the gold for the first time.

NXT Championship – Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans finally broke through to get another opportunity at gold by winning the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at WWE NXT Deadline 2025.
After coming up just short of winning last year’s match, this win could be crucial with Evans challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil in January.
Based on his exciting in-ring style, ‘The Young OG’ feels like someone WWE should invest in and make the face of the entire NXT brand at some point.
Je’Von Evans finally beating Femi has been built up for over a year and should make his eventual NXT Championship win that much more satisfying for the fans.
