Back in November 2025, Lash Legend got called up to the WWE main roster and formed a new partnership with SmackDown’s Nia Jax.
This may open the door for some WWE and NXT tag teams to form moving forward on the company’s programming.
From former and current champions coming together to older allies reuniting, there is a lot of possibilities for potential crossover duos to be formed in the coming months.
Here are seven potentially new WWE and NXT tag team partners.
7. Chelsea Green & Ethan Page

In 2025, Chelsea Green came down to WWE NXT to join forces with Ethan Page in a bid to push the agenda of Canada as the superior country.
Then, Green and Page formed a tag team that went over to Lucha Libre AAA where they won the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships.
Allowing both performers to become double champions, the partnership between Page and Green has paid dividends for both individuals.
Bringing this act to WWE, Green and Page could help both stars move up the card on the main roster in a major way.

6. Carmelo Hayes & Kelani Jordan

Speaking of mixed tag teams, WWE could form some new pairings playing off of real life relationships.
Carmelo Hayes’ girlfriend is former NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan.
While Hayes is enjoying his best run on the main roster as the reigning United States Champion, Jordan has recently undergone a heel turn and is showing more aggression inside the squared circle.
Jordan getting called up to the main roster could lead to her and Hayes coming together as a new alliance that helps both of them move up to the main event picture.

5. Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice

During her time on WWE NXT, Stephanie Vaquer formed a few notable friendships with several stars on the roster.
At the first WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event in Los Angeles, Vaquer and Vice defeated Chik Tormenta and Dalys.
Seen speaking to each other multiple times backstage, Vice and Vaquer formed a relationship that could come back to the forefront on the WWE main roster.
After recently making an appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Vice could get called up to the main roster and reunite with “La Primera” to take over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship scene.

4. R-Truth & Joe Hendry

Since arriving in WWE, Joe Hendry has made several appearances on the main roster.
Whether it be WWE Royal Rumble 2025 or WrestleMania 41, Hendry has interacted with several different members of the main roster.
When he most recently appeared on December 26 Friday Night SmackDown, Hendry defeated The Miz in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight thanks to help from R-Truth.
This seemed to set the stage for Truth and Hendry to form a pairing on the WWE main roster that could create a bunch of laughs and memorable moments along the way.

3. Tiffany Stratton & Blake Monroe

Tiffany Stratton has become one of the biggest female stars on the WWE main roster today.
With distinct character, there is someone on the NXT roster that has drawn several comparisons to Stratton.
Ever since making her WWE debut, fans have been wondering when Blake Monroe might interact with the former Ms. Money In The Bank and WWE Women’s Champion.
Monroe getting called up could lead to an alliance being formed between herself and Stratton that might become an insurmountable force against every other women’s tag team in the company today.

2. Randy Orton & Myles Borne

Since making his WWE debut, Myles Borne has been compared time after time to Randy Orton.
Whether it be his overall look or his signature dropkick, there have been things that point to Borne being heavily influenced by “The Legend Killer.”
Borne aligning with Orton feels like a no-brainer move to give these two a mentor and protege relationship.
Forming a new tag team, Orton might be able to find the same magic he had with Matt Riddle in the past with RK-Borne.

1. Royce Keys & Ricky Saints

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Royce Keys made his debut with the company in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
The former Powerhouse Hobbs showed his dominance in a short amount of time during his debut, but he has not appeared on WWE TV ever since.
Meanwhile, Ricky Saints has emerged as one of the biggest stars on the WWE NXT brand since signing with the company in February 2025.
Keys and Saints have a ton of history together during their time in Team Taz for All Elite Wrestling, so WWE could play off this by reuniting the duo on the main roster in the near future.
