New WWE Bloodline Faction Members

For the first time in years, The Bloodline are no longer the dominant act in WWE.

Roman Reigns remains absent, The Usos are back together but outside of any Bloodline storyline, and the renamed faction MFT have been on SmackDown but not prominently featured in recent weeks.

With MFT now formally carrying on The Bloodline story, the question is who could be added to the group to heat them back up.

Here are six potential new WWE Bloodline faction members.

6. Ava

The Rock’s daughter Ava has had her detractors since first appearing on screen in NXT.

Now 24, she was quickly shifted from in-ring work to an authority role as general manager, and while she doesn’t share her father’s transcendent charisma, she’s grown increasingly confident as a character.

It may be time to give her a more prominent role by formally aligning her with The Bloodline faction on Smackdown and embracing the Johnson name as The Rock’s daughter.

Ava could be brought into Solo Sikoa’s group as its mouthpiece and manager, giving the faction a much-needed new voice.

5. Journey Fatu

One of Jacob Fatu’s regular tag team partners on the indies was his younger brother Journey.

The 29-year-old continues to work across the US indies, appearing for high-profile promotions including NWA, MLW and West Coast Pro.

Unlike some of the more high-profile Anoa’i family names, Journey Fatu regularly competes in violent death matches on the indies — known as much for his blood-soaked brawls as for delivering brutal hip attacks.

There’s been no indication that WWE has him on their radar, but given the family name, it can’t be ruled out.

4. Haku

One South Pacific Islander we haven’t seen on WWE programming in over two decades is legendary wrestling tough guy Haku.

Haku has a direct connection to the new Bloodline group on SmackDown as the father of MFT members Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Talla Tonga.

While not appearing regularly in WWE, the 66-year-old has joined his sons on multiple occasions in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as an honorary member of Bullet Club — both wrestling alongside them and accompanying them to the ring.

He wouldn’t be brought in as an active worker, but having the legendary hard man in the corner of Sikoa’s Bloodline group would add an extra air of authenticity to the faction.

3. Zilla Fatu

The son of legendary WWE monster Umaga, Zilla Fatu looks to be the next Anoa’i family member likely to sign with WWE.

The 25-year-old cousin of Solo Sikoa has been plying his trade on the US indies, particularly in New York’s high-profile HOG promotion, and while still relatively inexperienced he’s begun to show the athleticism and presence that made his father such a standout.

While a run in NXT would arguably help his development, Fatu’s name value could see him jump straight to the main roster.

As a former tag partner of Jacob Fatu on the indies, bringing him to SmackDown alongside Sikoa would be a surefire way to heat up the feud between Sikoa’s group and Fatu.

2. Lance Anoa’i

Lance Anoa’i, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Samu of The Wild Samoans, was signed by WWE last summer.

The 33-year-old suffered an injury shortly after signing and has yet to appear on NXT programming.

It was reported in February that Anoa’i and Talla Tonga were training at the WWE PC and awaiting plans for his debut.

While Tonga has since debuted on WWE TV as a part of Sikoa’s faction, it remains to be seen whether Anoa’i will follow suit and also join up with the MFTs, or debut outside of the Bloodline storyline altogether.

1. Nia Jax

Nia Jax is The Rock’s second cousin, giving her a legitimate claim to Bloodline membership.

The 41-year-old is currently locked in a three-way feud on SmackDown with Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill over the WWE Women’s Championship.

Not only is she still a prominently featured star on WWE programming, but she has also earned fan praise for a late-career improvement in her in-ring work.

Bringing Jax into Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline group would be one way to give the faction and Jax herself fresh life.
