With some potential new AEW stars on the horizon, there are some interesting options for who could debut alongside Mercedes Mone.
While Mercedes Mone continues a landmark run holding multiple championships, she has recently found herself without AEW gold after losing the TBS Championship. Potentially looking outside the company for new allies, there could be some backup joining The CEO soon.
Here are five potential new AEW stars that could debut with Mercedes Mone.
5. Persephone
Confirmed by Tony Khan on Twitter on January 14, it was made official that CMLL star Persephone is now All Elite.
Persephone will be under a dual contract which will see her continue to appear for CMLL as well as AEW.
Having previously competed in AEW at the crossover pay-per-view Forbidden Door, she has past experience with Mercedes Mone as an opponent.
Challenging for the TBS Championship that was held by Mone in a four-way match also featuring Bozilla and Alex Windsor, perhaps Persephone will arrive with another familiar face.

4. Saya Kamitani
A potential debut that could be shown joining forces with Mercedes Mone could be Saya Kamitani.
While currently taking a break from in-ring action due to health reasons, the hardworking star – who became the first woman to ever be voted Tokyo Sport MVP in 2025 – will be back soon.
Kamitani is reportedly set to return to in-ring action on February 7 in Osaka, Japan to defend her World of Stardom Championship against Starlight Kid.
Previously dropping the New Japan Strong Women’s Championship to Syuri after a 99 day reign, it could be that the compelling Kamitani is dropping titles in preparation to depart to AEW.

3. Bozilla
One potential new AEW signee that could arrive sometime in 2026 is German professional wrestler, Bozilla.
While Bozilla is seemingly still under contract with STARDOM, she has recently been revealed to be injured.
Potentially set to join AEW on a more permanent basis when she is recovered, the impressive star would be the perfect addition to a new Mercedes Mone squad.
Certainly set to make a major impact, the 24 year old has time to make big career moves including vetting offers from AEW or even WWE.

2. Syuri
A potential new ally for Mercedes Mone could come from NJPW in the form of Syuri.
With her hard hitting and dynamic style clearly inspired by her experience in kickboxing and MMA, Syuri could debut with Mone but eventually find her fighting babyface spirit was misaligned with Mercedes in the long run.
Already announced for stateside competition, the IWGP Women’s & New Japan Strong Women’s Champion Syuri is set for New Japan The New Beginning USA on February 27th in Trenton, New Jersey perhaps there could be a debut on the horizon in AEW.
Having noted that she wants to face several current AEW talent in the future including Mercedes Mone, perhaps it is only a matter of time before Syuri is All Elite.

1. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay
With the news that The IInspiration (formerly known as The IIconics in WWE) have elected to depart TNA Wrestling, the obvious next question is where they might find themselves going next.
While certainly able to capitalize on their recent popularity when appearing on NXT as a part of the TNA invasion as a path forward to WWE, perhaps something else entirely is set for the talented duo.
Potentially joining the AEW women’s tag team division, aligning with Mercedes Mone could be the perfect move.
With the three heels able to target Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, there could be some massive six-woman battles coming soon with implications on all of the titles in the AEW women’s division.
