With the last AEW pay-per-view of 2025 fast approaching in Worlds End, there could potentially be some new signings about to debut.
From former WWE names to former AEW characters that could make their way back to the company, there are a lot of intriguing prospects as the year comes to a close.
Here are five potential new AEW signings that could make their debut at Worlds End 2025.
5. Cedric Alexander

The last member missing from The Hurt Syndicate in AEW from its original WWE “Hurt Business” iteration is Cedric Alexander.
While Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP were all signed to AEW last year, Alexander would elect to move on to a spell in TNA Wrestling after being released by WWE.
With TNA Wrestling recently snagging a new network partner in AMC for a new weekly broadcast set to debut, it could be that Alexander is not a hot prospect given his veteran and free agent status.
If Tony Khan hopes to recruit Cedric Alexander to join AEW, it would seem that a debut at AEW Worlds End would be entirely appropriate.

4. Kacy Catanzaro

Now that the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions have been crowned in AEW in Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, there could be more new teams headed to the company.
One such dynamic duo could be Lacey Lane and Kacy Catanzaro, formerly known as Kayden Carter and Katana Chance respectively.
Already making a debut appearance on AEW TV, Lacey Lane has reportedly already signed a contract with AEW whereas Catanzaro has not had a public match in a wrestling ring but has returned to her former passion — American Ninja Warrior.
Potentially joining forces again in AEW, the duo could go on to claim gold in the emerging AEW Women’s tag team division.

3. Gabe Kidd

While Gabe Kidd has made numerous appearances in AEW, the next time he pops up, he could be fully signed to the company.
If he’s looking to move on from NJPW, Kidd could certainly not only sign with AEW but possibly be poised to join the Death Riders.
Certainly able to bring his own penchant for violence to the group, he has already proven himself to be a dangerous ally for PAC.
Frightening on his own or as a group, Kidd could also find himself feuding with the likes of Jon Moxley or even Eddie Kingston.

2. Mike Santana

While having a landmark run in his second stint in TNA Wrestling, Mike Santana’s reported contract situation could potentially lead to an exit at the end of the year, providing a new deal isn’t agreed.
With WWE reportedly interested in signing Mike Santana, it could be that he makes a triumphant return to AEW instead.
Completely reinventing his character into a solo main event star in TNA Wrestling, it would make for surprising turn of events to see Santana go back to AEW rather than head to WWE.
With potential unfinished business with other AEW characters in addition to new rivalries, this version of Mike Santana could end up taking over the men’s division.

1. Michael Oku

Familiar to AEW audiences from already making several appearances, Michael Oku might officially become All Elite soon.
Boasting a well-regarded independent career in the UK indie scene, Oku revealed that he was not signed to AEW but was even open to uprooting and moving stateside.
With both he and real-life partner Amira being solid additions to the AEW roster, the pair could add an amazing new element.
Oku has competed in CMLL as well debuting at Arena Mexico in June 2024 as well, potentially offering another route to be introduced as a full-time member AEW.
