TNA Wrestling Slammiversary 2025 is shaping up to be one of the biggest pay-per-views for the promotion with a record breaking crowd for the event.

In front of the biggest audience in 10 years, the company will look to not only put on a memorable show, but also celebrate the history of the promotion.

With the recent announcement that former multi-time TNA World Champion and current WWE star AJ Styles is set to appear at the event, there could be even more former TNA Wrestling talent who show up to make this a truly standout pay-per-view.

Here are eight more former TNA Wrestling stars to potentially return at Slammiversary 2025.

8. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

In the weeks leading to TNA Slammiversary 2025, 4th Rope’s Enzo Amore has sent messages to the TNA Wrestling roster, teasing his arrival at the upcoming event from his hometown of New York.

Amore currently holds the 4th Rope Flyweight Championship and has hinted at not coming alone to the upcoming pay-per-view.

On the July 17 edition of TNA IMPACT, Amore dropped some teases that he will be bringing Zilla Fatu, Josh Bishop and former TNA World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers with him.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows once sat atop of the TNA Wrestling tag team division for several years before re-signing with WWE, so this could be a grand return at TNA Slammiversary 2025.

7. Abyss

“The Monster” Abyss was considered one of the first homegrown stars for TNA Wrestling during the 2000s.

The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was one of the original monster heels in TNA who put on several classic matches against the likes of Sting, AJ Styles and Sabu.

Abyss was recently featured as part of a TNA special DLC pack in the latest WWE 2K25 video game.

To cross promote the new game, Abyss could show up in his old mask at TNA Slammiversary 2025 despite being one of WWE’s producers backstage right now.

One of the original stars made in the infancy of TNA Wrestling was James Storm.

Known mostly for his work in two of the greatest tag teams in TNA history, Storm was regarded as a tag team specialist due to his success with both America’s Most Wanted and Beer Money.

The former TNA World Champion has been less featured in major promotions over the past few years, but he has competed in the ring this year.

“The Cowboy” getting one more ride in the sunset at what is shaping up to be a historic TNA Slammiversary 2025 just feels right.

Due to his contract expiring following a lengthy suspension, Swann was let go from TNA Wrestling.

While Swann has returned to the independent scene, First Class also continued on with Francis teaming with KC Navarro.

If things are able to be smoothed over between the two sides, TNA Slammiversary 2025 could see Swann returning to help First Class win the TNA World Tag Team Championships in the four-way ladder match at the event.

In 2010, Rob Van Dam made his way to TNA Wrestling and quickly became one of the promotion’s top stars.

Capturing the TNA World Championship, “The Whole F’N Show” helped to bolster their main event scene at that time.

Having two stints in the company, RVD last appeared in TNA back in 2020 before making a return to WWE and some appearances in All Elite Wrestling.

Van Dam making his return might be for a guest appearance and remind many fans of a time where he was one of the rare highlights.

2. Amazing Red

As one of the mainstays of the X-Division, Amazing Red has been highly regarded as one of the most influential stars from the early years of TNA Wrestling.

Now, Red has his imprint across pretty much every single major promotion out there thanks to his in-ring work and training some of the top talent around.

With one of his proteges Mike Santana set to challenge for the TNA World Title in the three way main event, TNA Slammiversary 2025 feels like the perfect spot for the former X-Division Champion to make his return.

Whether it be in the crowd or in the corner of Santana, seeing Amazing Red in New York feels appropriate and would be celebrating one of the most legendary stars in the company’s history.

When looking at the WWE roster, there are various stars who came through or made their name over in TNA Wrestling.

Chief among those who made their presence felt in TNA, LA Knight first got noticed by many fans as Eli Drake during his time in the promotion.

The former TNA World Champion was viewed as an amazing talker who was destined for superstardom, which he has been able to achieve in WWE.

With WWE’s partnership with TNA Wrestling, it would be a very cool moment to see a top star like Knight make his return at a major event like TNA Slammiversary 2025.
