More AEW stars to join Will Ospreay’s United Empire: Which names could be next to join the group after Speedball Mike Bailey?

On the September 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay invited Speedball Mike Bailey into his United Empire faction, which he accepted.

This led to Ospreay and Bailey later picking up a win over The Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd to affirm their alignment.

Now that Speedball is part of the group, it should be interesting to see who will be next to join this new version of United Empire.

Here are three more AEW stars to potentially join Will Ospreay’s United Empire after Speedball Mike Bailey.

The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor)

There is no secret that Alex Windsor recently got married to Will Ospreay earlier this year.

Following AEW All In London 2026, the married couple are both champions after Windsor and Jamie Hayter beat Divine Dominion to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles.

Wanting to bring some more credibility to United Empire, Ospreay would be hard-pressed to find a better combo to add to this stable.

“The Aerial Assassin” bringing in The Brawling Birds would be wise and add some more gold to United Empire.

Komander

In an interview, Will Ospreay was asked who he thinks is the best high flyer right now.

Ospreay’s answer was Komander because he can do things that he has never seen before.

At 27 years old, Komander has established himself as one of the best luchadors in the world in 2026.

Bringing an even more international feel to United Empire, Ospreay could extend an invite to Komander next.

Konosuke Takeshita

Will Ospreay is no stranger whatsoever to Konosuke Takeshita over the past few years.

When Ospreay first arrived in All Elite Wrestling, his first official opponent was Takeshita at AEW Revolution 2024.

Takeshita was also the man that dethroned Ospreay for the AEW International Title that same year.

With his accolades as a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and G1 Climax winner, “The Alpha” feels like a major star that could bolster United Empire moving forward.
