With Jade Cargill, yet another big name AEW star has left the company for WWE.
The likes of Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and even Brian Pillman Jr. have enjoyed quite a big welcome into WWE so far.
Who else could realistically follow suit?
There’s talk that WWE has its eyes on a number of AEW stars whose contracts come up in 2024, so Rhodes, Cargill and Pillman Jr are likely to be joined by more of their former colleagues.
Here are six more current AEW stars who could end up joining WWE.
6. Brian Cage
Not too long ago, Brian Cage actually re-signed with AEW. However, he has always had that WWE look.
He just might be the most WWE star-looking guy in AEW that’s never worked for the company before.
So if his contract happens to end earlier than expected or even after it does, WWE and Brian Cage could be a perfect new match for each other.
And while he is at it, he might just bring his stable mate Bishop Kaun with him, because he has a WWE vibe around him just like Cage.

5. Penelope Ford
Penelope Ford is everything WWE is looking for.
Young, talented, and charismatic.
Maybe it’s time for Penelope Ford to leave AEW for World Wrestling Entertainment.
In AEW, the booking doesn’t leave much room for women’s wrestling, while there’s plenty more in the other company, especially NXT.
If Penelope wants to take the next step in her career, you can make a case that a move should maybe be in her plans.
One reason she might want to stay with AEW though is her husband Kip Sabian.
And she might not be the only one staying because of that…

4. Dr. Britt Baker DMD
Baker has done it all in AEW. Owen Hart Cup, World Championship, but recently there’s not been anything significant that Baker was booked for.
It almost seems like Tony Khan has run out of ideas for her.
Maybe it’s the that rather than just accepting her fate, she does something about it. Baker can talk the talk AND walk the walk. She is a perfect fit for the bright lights of WWE.
However, much like Penelope Ford, Baker has her boyfriend Adam Cole in AEW, which could make a difference.

3. Dustin Rhodes
Rhodes is currently out injured and hopefully back in action rather soon.
While it looks like he is going to stick around with AEW for a little while longer, he might finish up his career in WWE.
It seems like a fairytale ending if both Rhodes brothers could be in the same promotion one more time before it is all over.
Whatever the legendary performer decides to do, going to WWE and being Goldust one more time would be beautiful.

2. MJF
MJF is the current AEW World Champion and one-half the ROH World Tag Team Champions.
All Elite Wrestling revolves around Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Why would he leave?
Well, the bidding war of 2024 is still on!
In the end, it might just come down to who offers him the most money.
Right now it looks like MJF would lean more towards AEW, but as we’ve learned in the past:
Things can change on a dime.

1. Ricky Starks
Ricky Starks seems to be the most likely next name to leave for WWE.
He has great connections to Cody Rhodes and is what MJF claims to be: A Generational Talent!
For some reason, Ricky Starks was never named a pillar of AEW and is rarely used in the main event picture.
WWE is probably aware that the man they called “Absolute” is someone you could build a company around.
