At AEW All In London 2026, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. made her return to the company after a near-two year absence.
Following in the footsteps of the former AEW Women’s World Champion, there could be more stars who have been absent from the promotion to make a comeback in the coming weeks and months.
With AEW All Out 2026 on the horizon, fans could see some notable returns in Chicago.
Here are seven more absent AEW stars who could potentially make a return at All Out 2026.
7. Nyla Rose
During a recent interview, Nyla Rose expressed some frustration over her lengthy absence from AEW television.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion is someone who has showcased herself to have an entertaining character and personality that can still contribute to the company.
In recent months, Rose has been competing on the independent scene and over in Japan.
Nyla Rose making her return could prove to be a memorable moment at the AEW All Out 2026 pay-per-view.
6. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
Back in February, Private Party made their return to the company after a year away from the company.
However, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen soon suffered another injury that sidelined them again.
Over the past month, the AEW tag team division has seen a major boost with the addition of The New Level and The Motor City Machine Guns.
Private Party making their return at AEW All Out 2026 could put them in position to square off with one of the top duos in the promotion in the coming weeks and months.
5. Hologram
Another AEW star who has been on the sidelines thanks to injury is Hologram.
At the tailend of 2025, Hologram sustained a knee injury that required surgery in November.
All these months later, it feels like the masked luchador could be on his way back to All Elite Wrestling.
With his established feud with El Clon, fans could see Hologram come back as a new enemy of the Don Callis Family at All Out 2026.
4. Penelope Ford
In February, Penelope Ford suffered a leg injury during an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match.
Since then, Ford has been out of action for the past seven months.
While there was no timetable on her return, Penelope could be on her way back at any point.
Penelope Ford coming back could see her reuniting with Divine Dominion to help them regain the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against The Brawling Birds at All Out 2026.
3. Ruby Soho
While she did not suffer an injury, Ruby Soho has been away from AEW after giving birth to her first child.
Taking time off with maternity leave, Soho has been out of action for the past two years.
The AEW women’s division has gone through a lot of changes with her time away and it may lead to her returning in the near future.
With AEW All Out 2026 in just over a week, Soho might return and insert herself in the mix in the women’s scene.
2. Buddy Matthews
Another AEW star who has had a lengthy hiatus from the company is Buddy Matthews.
Following AEW Grand Slam: Australia 2025, Matthews revealed that he had suffered a serious ankle injury that required surgery.
After over a year on the shelf, Matthews announced that he had been medically cleared to compete in August.
AEW All Out 2026 feels like the best possible destination for Buddy to make his return and immediately reinsert himself into the fold in the promotion.
1. Samoa Joe
After losing to Will Ospreay at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, Samoa Joe announced that he was taking some time off to return to Hollywood.
The former two-time AEW World Champion left HOOK in charge of The Opps in his time away.
Joe coming back could lead to some serious developments for The Opps with some teased tension between HOOK and Anthony Bowens.
Putting everyone in their place, Joe could return at AEW All Out 2026 and cause a major change in the group he created or even find himself back into title contention in the company.
