WWE’s Money in the Bank arrives on Saturday, 7 June at the Intuit Dome in California.
In recent years, the event has earned its place as one of WWE’s “Big Five,” joining WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series.
Despite its growing significance, there are some notable names who may be absent from this year’s show.
Here are the stars we might not see make their way down the entrance ramp at Money in the Bank.
6. Roman Reigns

Arguably WWE’s biggest star, Roman Reigns is one major name not expected to appear at Money in the Bank.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed this, stating that Reigns “isn’t coming back for a while.”
He was last seen on the Raw after WrestleMania, where he was attacked by Paul Heyman’s new stable – Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.
While there’s no official return date, it seems likely Reigns will resurface later this summer to resume his feud with Heyman’s faction.

5. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair suffered broken fingers during the show-stealing three-way women’s match at WrestleMania 41.
WWE has yet to announce a return date, making it likely she will miss Money in the Bank.
However, the nature of the injury doesn’t suggest a long-term absence, so Belair could return as WWE’s summer schedule heats up.
The real question is where she goes next – does she challenge IYO SKY for the title once more, or move to SmackDown to get involved in a feud with Naomi and former tag partner Jade Cargill?

4. Asuka

Asuka has not been in a WWE ring for over a year.
Injury, surgery, and recovery have kept the Damage CTRL member sidelined for this extended period.
Her return now seems more likely sooner rather than later, though there’s no indication it will happen at Money in the Bank.
Whenever it does happen, the return of the “Empress of Tomorrow” is bound to be a major moment.

3. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio suffered heartbreak when he was injured on SmackDown just one day before WrestleMania, being replaced by Rey Fenix in the match against El Grande Americano.
The groin injury will almost certainly keep him out past the June 7 Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Nevertheless, when he returns, Mysterio is expected to reignite his feud with El Grande Americano.
A Mask vs. Mask bout seems increasingly likely, with the truth surrounding El Grande Americano to come out sooner or later.

2. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens was another top WWE star pulled from a major expected match at WrestleMania 41, where he was originally set to face Randy Orton.
Owens has been sidelined with serious neck issues, raising concerns about his long-term in-ring future.
There is currently no timeline for his return, and it’s clear he won’t be available in time for Money in the Bank.
While the priority remains his full recovery, an eventual comeback could see him resume his feud with Orton.

1. Jey Uso

The Jey Uso success story continues, as his surprising ascension to the top of the mountain has captured WWE’s audience.
He’s set to defend the WWE Championship against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event on 24 May, and if successful, will face GUNTHER on Raw on 9 June.
Because that title defence is already scheduled for Raw, it’s unlikely that Jey will appear or defend the title at Money in the Bank.
The key question now is, can “Main Event” Jey get past Logan Paul and GUNTHER to stay at the top of WWE?
