At AEW All In London 2026, Mercedes Monè defeated Willow Nightingale to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.
With this victory, Monè made history by becoming the first woman to win a world title in four major promotions: WWE, New Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL and All Elite Wrestling.
After two years in the company, “The CEO” now stands on top of the entire AEW women’s division.
Throughout the promotion’s history, there have been some iconic AEW Women’s World Champions.
From Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and Hikaru Shida to “Timeless” Toni Storm and Thekla, these champions have been made their mark on the company’s identity.
Seeing the legacy of these reigns, there is a chance that Monè could join these names.
The question now is can Mercedes live up to that legacy and become the greatest AEW Women’s World Champion of all time?
Mercedes Monè’s legacy is set to reach another level
Coming off the heels of AEW All In London 2026, many fans were heralding the Mercedes Monè vs. Willow Nightingale as one of the greatest women’s matches in the company’s history.
In her two years in the promotion, Monè has had some of the best matches regardless of gender.
Looking at her resumè, Mercedes has to be considered one of the best wrestlers regardless of gender.

Potential Mercedes Monè rivalries & stories
To kick off her title reign, Monè has been confronted by Thekla, which could be her first rival.
Knowing the charisma and talking ability of “The Toxic Spider,” this could be a compelling feud.
Mercedes’ heel character could facilitate a Thekla babyface turn as well.
Using Monè to elevate other talent might just be a key factor to the longevity of this run.
With the praise for the rivalry with Willow, Mercedes may have the chance to find similar success with Thekla now.
Looking at the rest of the roster, there are the likes of Jamie Hayter, Alex Windsor, Megan Bayne and Athena who could all make for tantalizing new rivals for “The CEO.”
Meanwhile, Kris Statlander has a claim to a shot considering she beat Mercedes in her last AEW Women’s World Title match.
Then, there is the potential of Willow Nightingale returning to get revenge on Monè.

“The Timeless One” returning could make a massive shift in focus and set up a showdown with “The CEO.”
After their classic at All In Texas 2025, fans want to see Monè and Storm clash again.
From Joshi and Mexican talent getting a shot to new stars like Maya World emerging, Mercedes might just have her hands full.
