This year’s edition of WWE Money In The Bank is right around the corner.
For the first time ever it is going to air live from London, England.
A real hype has grown around talent like LA Knight as well as the implosion of The Bloodline.
With six matches announced and the event coming this weekend, there still seems to be plenty of room for some last-minute additions.
For example, the greatest champion to ever come out of Europe…
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther vs. Matt Riddle

To be honest: It was quite a surprise for me to find out that this match has not officially been announced yet.
Gunther embodies European wrestling and Matt Riddle was a regular guest on the European indie scene back in the day.
A perfect match for the European crowd that only makes sense given the encounters IMPERIUM and Riddle have had on the WWE main roster in recent weeks.
This championship match needs to happen at Money In The Bank.

WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory vs. Sheamus

I know, this match seemingly doesn’t have a reason to happen at the moment.
However, it seems like a crime that both the United States Championship and Sheamus do not have a match at Money In The Bank yet.
Wrestling on his home continent apparently brings out the best in Sheamus and Theory is in need of an opponent. Why not have Sheamus answer an open challenge?
While Theory does not have a feud at the moment, other champions do have one and still have not made the card yet…

WWE Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Pretty Deadly

This match has actually already been announced for SmackDown the night before Money in the Bank, but it might be a good decision to make some kind of change here.
Does it really seem right for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to miss out on an event like Money in the Bank after the year they’ve had?
SmackDown will be a big show too, but it’s not a “premium” event like Money in the Bank.
Whether the date of the match is changed, or there’s a rematch with a new stipulation, it just seems right that the tag titles should be defended at Money in the Bank.

WWE Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Tegan Nox

As it stands, Rhea Ripley is just going to be standing in Dominik Mysterio’s corner as he takes on Cody Rhodes, but she should have more to do while in the UK.
Unfortunately, Tegan Nox has not appeared on WWE TV for several weeks (except Main Event) and there is no hope for a proper storyline for the Girl with the Shiniest Wizard.
Rhea Ripley does not say no to a fight… but she’d probably destroy if you dare to step up.
Ultimately though, this wouldn’t stop the fire inside Tegan Nox as she arrives on her home turf for a fight. She missed out on Clash at the Castle in Wales last year – she deserves a big match in the UK.

WWE Women’s Championship: Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair

This upcoming SmackDown airs from London and it is going to feature Asuka defending her title against Charlotte Flair.
If you think former champion Bianca Belair is just going to sit there and watch: You are wrong.
She is most likely going to render this match a no-contest to finally force Adam Pearce to give her the rematch.
Without question, a triple-threat match at Money In The Bank seems to be the best outcome here.
