Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight AEW future plans: What’s next for the Don Callis Family duo after losing to Young Bucks at WrestleDream?

Coming off the heels of AEW WrestleDream 2026, the status of Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight’s tag team seems up in the air.

After failing to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships, it feels like Fletcher and Knight do not have much to do together moving forward.

Since they are still part of the Don Callis Family, the future for Fletcher and Knight could be directly linked or could see them go their separate ways.

Here are some potential Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight AEW future plans.

Another shot at The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships

At AEW WrestleDream 2026, The Young Bucks defeated Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

This proved to be a showstealing bout, but the match also saw Fletcher and Knight have a breakdown that led to their loss.

Just when it looked like they were on the verge of a victory, Knight tagged himself in and then went on to accidentally hit Fletcher with a springboard clothesline.

Since they beat themselves, Fletcher and Knight could make a claim to a rematch against The Bucks before long.

Teaming with another Don Callis Family member to go after the AEW World Trios Championships

In early 2026, both Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight captured the AEW World Trios Championships in separate pairings.

Fletcher teamed with Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis to win the gold, while Knight had two separate reigns with Speedball Mike Bailey, teaming with “Hangman” Adam Page and Mistico.

Considering their three runs with the titles between them, Knight and Fletcher can regain the AEW World Trios Championships with a fellow Don Callis Family member.

Whether it be Okada, Davis or Jake Doyle, there are a plethora of potential partners for “The Jet” and “The Protostar” to bring gold back to the Family.

Split to go after singles gold

AEW International Champion, Kyle Fletcher

As previously mentioned, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight only lost at AEW WrestleDream 2026 due to their own hubris.

After costing themselves the gold, Fletcher and Knight may feel like they are both ready to go after singles gold again.

Knight has stated that he was cheated out of the TNT Championship and never got a rematch for the title, while Fletcher has unfinished business with Kazuchika Okada over him taking the AEW International Title at All In London 2026.

Fletcher and Knight going their separate ways could see them both winning singles title in the promotion or even colliding with one another.

Finally squaring off one-on-one

In the summer of 2026, Kevin Knight joined the Don Callis Family after turning heel.

Since then, Knight has had some underlined tension with Fletcher over who is the real crown jewel of the Don Callis Family.

Despite still being members of the faction, it might be time for Fletcher and Knight to finally square off with one another.

“The Protostar” facing “The Jet” to prove who is the best in the DCF could make for a highly emotional battle between the stablemates somewhere down the road.
