On Wednesday, November 4, All Elite Wrestling will present their Blood and Guts 2026 special.
With the two-ring steel cage match making its return, there is plenty of possibilities for what fans will see.
From shocking betrayals to new arrivals, the landscape of AEW may be altered by the events of Blood and Guts.
Here are four potential surprises at AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts 2026.
Steven Borden turns on Darby Allin to join the Don Callis Family
At AEW All Out 2026, Steven Borden suffered a serious concussion that saw him do a coast-to-coast move and land on his head.
Due to this injury, The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight were able to defeat Borden and Darby Allin to become the number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Then on the October 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Borden made his return alongside Darby to make the save for Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay against the DCF and issue the challenge for Blood and Guts.
Despite their bond thanks on their love for his father Sting, Steven Borden may choose money and fame over friendship by turning on Darby to join the Don Callis Family during his first Blood and Guts match.
Marina Shafir joins the babyface side of the Women’s Blood & Guts Match
On the October 22 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Monè issued a challenge to anyone to step up for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
This challenge was answered by Marina Shafir of The Death Riders, who showed no fear in Mercedes.
While it seems Divine Dominion and Triangle of Madness will put their differences aside to face The Brawling Birds and Wrathlander inside the two-ring steel cage, there is still room for other stars to join this fray.
If Mercedes Monè is on the opposite side, Marina Shafir could surprise everyone by joining the babyfaces in Blood and Guts.
Kairi Sane makes her debut
There has been plenty of rumors and speculation about the future of Kairi Sane in All Elite Wrestling.
Since being released from WWE, Sane has stayed out of the limelight and hasn’t appeared for another promotion.
The former Kabuki Warrior is one of the most decorated and beloved female stars in wrestling today.
Considering this major special, AEW could bring Kairi Sane into the fold at Blood and Guts and even potentially have her get involved in the women’s version of the stipulation.
Adam Copeland shows his true colors to Will Ospreay
At AEW WrestleDream 2026, Will Ospreay was able to retain the AEW World Title in the first ever Clockwork Carnage.
Despite looking like he was on the cusp of victory, Adam Copeland had the win snatched away from him by Ospreay in the final seconds.
It was clear after the match that “The Rated R Superstar” still has his sights on the top prize in the company.
Despite being on the same team in the Men’s Blood and Guts, Cope could show his true colors by turning on Ospreay inside the two-ring steel cage match.
