Following AEW All In London 2026, Kazuchika Okada is once again the AEW International Champion.
Enjoying his second reign with the gold, it should be interesting who will try to end this run for “The Rainmaker.”
From former rivals to fresh new opponents, Okada could face any number of stars on the AEW roster in the coming weeks and months.
Here are seven potential Kazuchika Okada next AEW International Championship challengers.
7. Konosuke Takeshita
At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the AEW International Championship.
“The Alpha” proved on that night that he could beat and dethrone “The Rainmaker.”
Now that Okada is once again the International Champion, fans could expect Takeshita to want to take his gold yet again.
Takeshita challenging Okada could make for a tantalizing rematch for one of the best bouts of 2026 so far.
6. “Jungle” Jack Perry
“Jungle” Jack Perry re-signed with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year.
With this re-signing, Perry staked his claim that he will one day become AEW World Champion.
On his quest for the gold, Perry has stated that he plans to face the best to become the best. The former “Jungle Boy” has also been in hot pursuit of championship gold.
Perry squaring off with Kazuchika Okada could prove to be a tough test for this current AEW International Championship reign.
5. Jay White
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden 2026, Jay White made his return to the company for the first time in over a year.
While he has been focused on his rivalry with David Finlay and The Dogs, White has always had his eyes on championship gold in AEW.
“Switchblade” is someone who is no stranger whatsoever to Kazuchika Okada from their time together in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Based on their established rivalry, White feels like a no-brainer choice to be a challenger for Okada’s current AEW International Title run.
4. Speedball Mike Bailey
Back at AEW Double Or Nothing 2025, Kazuchika Okada defeated Speedball Mike Bailey to retain the AEW Continental Championship.
Throughout his time in All Elite Wrestling, Bailey has been on the hunt for the International gold.
In his first pay-per-view match, Bailey came up short in a three-way with Kenny Omega and Ricochet at AEW Dynasty 2026. Then at AEW Grand Slam Mexico 2026, Speedball failed once again to capture the International Championship against Kyle Fletcher.
Now, Speedball could get another crack to avenge his losses against Okada and also potentially win the AEW International Championship.
3. Kevin Knight
At AEW All In London 2026, Darby Allin defeated Kevin Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere to win the TNT Championship.
“The Jet” joined Kyle Fletcher as Don Callis Family who lost at the biggest show of the year.
Since joining the DCF, Knight has had some teased tension with the likes of both Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada.
Now that Okada holds the AEW International Championship, it would not be surprising to see “The Jet” try to get his hands on his stablemate’s gold.
2. “Hangman” Adam Page
“Hangman” Adam Page can no longer challenge for the AEW World Title after losing to MJF in a Texas Death Match at Revolution 2026.
The two-time AEW World Champion took several months off before making his return in time for All In London 2026.
After his return, Page made it clear that he planned to still become a champion despite not being eligible for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.
For the first time in over eight years, fans could finally see “Hangman” go one-on-one with Kazuchika Okada this time for the AEW International Championship sometime down the road.
1. Kyle Fletcher
At AEW All In London 2026, Kazuchika Okada defeated Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to win the AEW International Championship.
To win this bout, Okada chose to pin his fellow Don Callis Family stablemate in Fletcher.
This has created a heated dynamic between “The Rainmaker” and “The Protostar” moving forward.
Eventually, fans could see Fletcher step up to get his rematch against Okada in what could be a showstealer anywhere in the world.
