With Jey Uso failing to advance in the Last Time Is Now tournament to find John Cena’s last opponent, he is seeming closer than ever to turning heel.
While there aren’t any specific reports to suggest that Jey Uso is planned to turn heel in the near future, an intriguing number of teases have made fans begin to wonder — what if?
Here are five WWE heel turn plans for Jey Uso.
5. Revealed As Jacob Fatu’s Attacker

While Jacob Fatu was attacked backstage at WWE SmackDown to write him off TV, in actuality the fan favorite star is taking time off after having dental surgery.
Poised to return in the near future, it has still yet to be revealed who actually was behind the attack on Fatu.
While SmackDown stars like Cody Rhodes pointed at Drew McIntyre, there could be a more dastardly reveal coming soon with Jey Uso taking responsibility for the attack.
Potentially starting his own chapter of Bloodline vs. Bloodline warfare, Jey Uso could have old conflict with Jacob that had never been addressed.

4. Costs LA Knight The Last Time Is Now Tournament

After besting Jey Uso to advance to the finals of the Last Time Is Now Tournament, LA Knight is set to face off against GUNTHER.
However after the loss, Uso was clearly very dejected and it seems that the continued losses could be getting to him.
Possibly looking to launch a new feud with LA Knight, Jey Uso could certainly create some sort of distraction or completely interfere to cost Knight the shot to face John Cena in his final match on December 13.
Leading to an intriguing position that will have seen GUNTHER essentially cheat to win for both the semi-final and the final, perhaps The Ring General won’t be able to beat John Cena in the end — keeping a bit of mystery for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

3. Join The Vision

While it obviously wasn’t Jey Uso as the masked man who interfered at WarGames, it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t know who was behind the attack.
Potentially being revealed that it was Jey Uso who coordinated the attack on CM Punk during the match, a case could be made for why Uso may have motivation.
Letting Bron Breakker do the dirty work of taking out CM Punk, Jey would then be in a primed position to turn against Breakker for his own gain.
Setting up a potential future feud with Roman Reigns should Uso be able to capture the World title yet again in WWE, there could be some fascinating twists and turns if Jey went to the Vision’s dark side.

2. The Usos Both Turn Heel

It could be that Jey Uso is going to turn heel, Jimmy Uso will join him in his change of attitude.
If reports prove true that perhaps Matt and Jeff Hardy are poised to make their WWE return sometime in the future — it could be amazing to see them tangle with a morally dubious pair of Usos.
With The New Day squarely heels, The Usos could both occupy a between space to face off against the likely to be adored returning legends, The Hardy Boyz.
Able to create a more compelling story between the three teams when they’re all coming from uniquely positioned (but also understandable) perspectives, there could be a true test of the best tag teams in professional wrestling coming soon to WWE.

1. Run Roughshod On TNA Wrestling

While the fun-loving and baby holding Jey Uso could continue to Yeet around on WWE Raw, it is possible that a foray elsewhere could help bring a darker element of Uso’s character forward.
Since it would seem a little odd for Uso to be attacking people in NXT, it might make actual storyline sense for him to go on a personal growth mission to TNA Wrestling.
Able to note that he is sick of his recent losses, Uso could ride the line between heel and babyface in TNA Wrestling in a new and innovative way as a workshop for what the character could be like in WWE.
With TNA Wrestling coming to the AMC Network for Thursday Night Impact! beginning in January 2026, perhaps a brooding and heelish Jey Uso lurking and waiting to strike could be a landmark crossover.
