With only one WWE Hall of Fame 2026 inductee revealed so far, some former NXT names could potentially soon be honored.
From formative figures both on-screen and behind the scenes, there are some definite candidates for this year’s inductee class that spent notable time in NXT.
Here are six former NXT stars to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026.
6. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt’s WWE career was creatively compelling and emotionally impactful for audiences.
Debuting in FCW back in 2009, Wyatt would go on to make major contributions across NXT and the main roster.
Known for his unique creativity as well as passionate connection with audiences, his legacy continues with the Wyatt Sicks faction that remains a fan favorite in WWE today.
Able to acknowledge his work posthumously after Bray Wyatt’s tragic passing in 2023, a Hall of Fame nod would be special for his family and fans alike.

5. Luke Harper

Another worthy member of the Wyatt Family who made an impact on NXT may find himself inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future.
Having been a frightening force in the Wyatt Family during their time on both NXT and the main roster, Luke Harper would hold the NXT Tag Team Championship in addition to being a 2x SmackDown Tag Team Champions and an Intercontinental Champion in singles competition.
With a long history of work in indie wrestling before signing with WWE, Harper’s contributions to the industry as a whole could be showcased as well.
Tragically, Harper (real name Jon Huber) passed away in December 2020. While a posthumous induction would be completely appropriate as a part of the Wyatt Family as a whole, Harper could certainly also be inducted on his own.

4. Paige

With other legends of the “Divas Era” like The Bella Twins already having been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, perhaps Paige is next.
The inaugural NXT Women’s Champion Paige would go on to also capture the Divas Championship on the main roster during her time in the company.
After departing WWE, Paige would go on to return to in-ring competition in AEW, capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship during her time with the company before departing in 2025.
While she has continued to be a name that fans hope makes an in-ring return in WWE — as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble 2026 in Riyadh perhaps — she could alternatively return for the HOF instead.

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

A current WWE star that could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026 may be Shinsuke Nakamura.
Certainly already a star outside of WWE before signing in 2016, Nakamura made a huge impact on NXT during his time on the brand.
Becoming a two-time NXT Champion, Nakamura had landmark feuds and classic matches that brought a brand new excitement when other new talent arrived from other companies.
Potentially winding down his in-ring career at the age of 45, perhaps an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame could be coming soon.

2. William Regal

Having long featured as the NXT on-screen General Manager throughout the “Black & Gold Era”, Regal became synonymous with the brand and controlling the chaos that unfolded within it.
Following a brief exit from WWE and AEW run in 2022, he would ultimately return as the company’s Vice President of Global Development.
Contributing to many of WWE’s biggest moments both on-screen and backstage, Regal is a must for a future induction to the WWE Hall of Fame.
Able to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, William Regal might be the best candidate to join this year’s group.

1. Fit Finlay

Although not as visible as other major behind the scenes players in WWE, Fit Finlay remains an influential legend.
A behind the scenes force in NXT, Fit Finlay is a surprising name that has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
From a legendary in-ring career to his copious contributions over the years behind the scenes in roles as producer and coach, Finlay would be a worthy choice.
Able to reference both his time as an in-ring performer but also having played a role in shaping so many of today’s most popular stars — the honor would be the perfect way to acknowledge his expansive career.
