With AEW set to begin the Continental Classic 2025 next week on Dynamite Thanksgiving Eve, the official brackets have yet to be confirmed.

However, following Full Gear we do now know some of the field of twelve competitors that will be taking part, with many others on the roster seeming likely to be added to the fold when the C2 kicks off.

Here is every potential entrant in the AEW Continental Classic 2025.

Konosuke Takeshita

AEW and NJPW star Konosuke Takeshita

A pivotal story that seems guaranteed to develop during this year’s Continental Classic is the dissolution of the Don Callis Family – with Konosuke Takeshita one of three members confirmed to be taking part.

With continued conflict between Takeshita and Okada, it could be that their biggest fight will end up being the final of the C2 at AEW World’s End.

Able to continue to complete his slow babyface turn, there could be a huge impact of Takeshita’s absence in the family.

With the rest of the C2 poised to test alliances throughout AEW — in the end, it could be Konosuke Takeshita that comes out the babyface winner.

Kazuchika Okada

The current AEW Unified Champion and winner of the 2024 Continental Classic Kazuchika Okada will also be participating in this year’s C2 tournament, as he seeks to defend his title.

Making his mindset clear with his fashionable lateness to the Full Gear CMLL Trios Championship match against CMLL’s Místico, Mascara Dorada and Neón, Okada arrived well into the match and with a full entrance — including pyro.

Okada’s lack of care was received loud and clear by Takeshita, with the pair coming face-to-face after the match was over.

As their conflict continued in the match, it is obvious that their rivalry should be a focal point of the 2025 C2 and seems likely to be the final of the entire tournament.

Kyle Fletcher

An AEW star that could end up reaching new heights by way of this year’s Continental Classic could be Kyle Fletcher.

After losing the TNT Championship to Mark Briscoe at AEW Full Gear 2025, Kyle Fletcher could channel that rage into the Continental Classic.

Already confirmed as an entrant in the tournament, Fletcher has been on a dominant run as of late and seems poised to do even more in 2026.

Potentially using the Continental Classic as his official launch into the AEW World Championship title chase, it could be that Kyle Fletcher takes it all the way to capture the tournament victory first.

HOOK

AEW's Hook

In a shocking turn of events to close AEW Full Gear 2025, several things went down that are sure to impact AEW moving forward.

HOOK entered the Steel Cage and struck Hangman Adam Page with the AEW World Championship, leading to Samoa Joe winning the gold for a second time.

Potentially looking to move forward and demonstrate a brand new character, HOOK could be poised to take over in the C2.

Bringing technical skill and power as well as strength, HOOK could go the distance in this year’s Continental Classic.

Eddie Kingston

AEW star Eddie Kingston

The first ever winner of the Continental Classic Eddie Kingston is back in action in this year’s tournament and could make that presence felt with a substantial run.

Able to provide compelling in-ring stories in any of his bouts, fans would really be waiting for an opportunity to see HOOK answer to Kingston.

After HOOK turned heel at the close of Full Gear 2025, it could be that Kingston is in on the move along with Samoa Joe and The Opps.

Or — Kingston could view HOOK as a snake and want to enact revenge based on general principle. Either way, Eddie would be a solid addition to the C2.

Roderick Strong

AEW star Roderick Strong

A professional wrestling veteran who exemplifies what the C2 is about, it would be great to see Roderick Strong get a spotlight.

Underappreciated for his reliability and character work, Strong could really use the opportunity to shine in the C2.

Able to transition into a new storyline from the tournament’s events, there could be some fun future feuds for Strong.

Going the distance in the Continental Classic could be an amazing kick-off to a big 2026 for Roderick Strong.

Daniel Garcia

After joining the Death Riders in early September, Daniel Garcia has been showing off his more violent and gritty character.

With Garcia having abandoned the Casino Gauntlet match after being confronted by new entrant and old friend Matt Menard, the duo would brawl outside the ring before disappearing.

Able to re-focus and lock-in on the importance of the C2 tournament, it could be that this year is Daniel Garcia’s time to shine.

Capitalizing off of his heel intensity and expanding penchant for violence, Garcia could end up being a quiet assassin in the tournament.

Speedball Mike Bailey

One relatively new AEW star that fans have been excited about potentially entering the C2 since he was confirmed as signed to the company is Speedball Mike Bailey.

Bringing plenty of experience from his time in DDT and TNA Wrestling, Bailey has barely scratched the surface of his capacity in AEW.

Able to bring his fast and technical style to a range of opponents in the tournament, the Continental Classic could be a star making run for Speedball.

Definitely likely to use the C2 as a launching pad for his next storyline, Speedball will certainly be one to watch.

Kevin Knight

AEW star Kevin Knight

After making his AEW debut in March 2025, this year’s AEW Continental Classic could be an amazing showcase for Kevin Knight.

Offering another fun potential match between tag team partners, it would be intriguing to see Kevin Knight in action against Speedball Mike Bailey in the tournament.

With a fun face-off already in the Casino Gauntlet match at Full Gear 2025 to determine the inaugural AEW National Champion — the stage has already been set.

Sure to wow in the Continental Classic with plenty of experience in NJPW and even competed in the 2025 NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 32 tournament.

Bandido

AEW star Bandido

At AEW Full Gear 2025, the AEW Tag Team Championship changed hands when FTR bested the duo of Brody King and Bandido (Brodido) to reclaim gold again in AEW.

While last year’s Continental Classic is in part fondly remembered due to the breakout performance of Brody King, perhaps this year could be a standout one for Bandido.

Able to pull off stunning and daring sequences in addition to his technical savvy, Bandido would bring a special element to the C2.

Possibly leading to some unlikely match-ups that could be unexpected delights between Bandido other babyfaces in the tournament — AEW fans are in for a treat if Bandido makes the C2.

Josh Alexander

While there are already three Don Callis members announced as entrants in the Continental Classic, it stands to reason that their fearless leader could negotiate a fourth.

On the heels of a big victory at AEW Full Gear 2025 teaming with the Young Bucks to defeat Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega, Alexander could be ready to further strike out on his own.

Bringing his technical and hard hitting style to the Continental Classic, Alexander is likely to be a major force in the tournament.

Potentially another AEW star on the verge of capturing acclaim through the tournament — there could be a major push for Alexander ahead in 2026.

PAC

After picking up an impressive victory at AEW Full Gear 2025 in a match against Darby Allin, PAC could be brining his technical prowess to the C2.

Back in action for this year’s tournament, there is a very good chance the Death Riders member could end up taking it all the way to the tournament final at AEW World’s End.

Able to potentially tell an intriguing story of the Death Riders collapse within the C2, PAC would certainly have to go up against stablemate Daniel Garcia at some point.

Bringing together a furious technical bout as well as some interesting storyline development— with Garcia having been added as a member to the group while PAC was out with injury — PAC is another top contender in the tournament.
