Cody Rhodes returned at the 39th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, fighting off John Cena, who looked set to cost Jey Uso the WWE World Title against Logan Paul.
Rhodes’ intentions to reclaim the Undisputed Championship he lost to Cena at WrestleMania 41 now seems clear.
With his return – and continued alliance with Jey Uso – could we see others rally behind “The American Nightmare”?
Here are the stars we could see form a Rhodes-led faction.
7. Jey Uso

As Saturday Night’s Main Event went off the air, Cody Rhodes issued a challenge for Money in the Bank.
The former Undisputed Champion called out John Cena and Logan Paul for a tag match against himself and Jey Uso.
Rhodes and Uso have had an on-and-off alliance since October 2023, when they captured the WWE Tag Team Titles from The Judgment Day at Fastlane.
If Rhodes is forming a faction, Jey Uso would seem the natural first pick – perhaps even as a co-equal leader.

6. Brandi Rhodes

A further natural choice for Cody Rhodes’ faction would be none other than his wife, Brandi Rhodes.
Brandi, once a featured performer in AEW, has made only occasional on-screen appearances since Cody returned to WWE and rose to become its top star.
Sharp on the microphone and a charismatic presence, her involvement would add an extra layer of personality to the group.
Could we soon see Brandi Rhodes once again become a regular presence on wrestling television?

5. Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso is riding a wave of unprecedented and unforeseen success, capturing the WWE Title at WrestleMania and harnessing the full energy of the WWE fanbase with his wildly over entrance.
His brother Jimmy, however, appears to be struggling – recently relegated to backstage comedy segments with R-Truth and failing to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Right now, Jimmy Uso’s career feels decidedly stagnant.
Reuniting with his brother as part of a new Rhodes-led faction could be exactly the refresh he desperately needs.

4. Ricky Saints

It’s well known that Ricky Saints – the former Ricky Starks – was one of Cody Rhodes’ closest allies backstage during their time in AEW.
Saints was signed to AEW after impressing in a tryout match against Rhodes on Dynamite.
Now the reigning North American Champion in NXT, the charismatic and fully-polished Saints has little reason to remain in WWE’s “developmental” system.
If a Rhodes-led faction is forming, expect to see Saints get the official WWE main-roster call-up.

3. Myles Borne

At NXT Battleground, on May 25, Myles Borne will challenge NXT Champion Oba Femi for the title.
While few expect the underdog to win, Borne’s recent push has shown his ability to connect with fans as a fundamentally likeable, white-meat babyface.
At just 26 years old, he’s not the finished product – but his improving in-ring skillset and earnest presence would make him a fitting understudy to Cody Rhodes in a faction.
If Rhodes forms a group, Borne could be given the call-up to the main roster, learning alongside one of WWE’s biggest stars.

2. Arn Anderson

In AEW, few figures were as closely associated with Cody Rhodes as “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson.
Anderson served as Rhodes’ manager during some of his biggest AEW bouts, including iconic matches with Brodie Lee, MJF, and Malakai Black.
At 66 years old, he’s still a charismatic performer with undeniable skill on the microphone.
If a Rhodes-led faction is set to emerge in WWE, it would only be right for Anderson to return to the company and play the same mentorship role for the entire group that he once did for Rhodes in AEW.

1. Bad Bunny

Cody Rhodes was ultimately robbed of the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania, when rapper Travis Scott interfered to help John Cena win.
Scott hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since, but it’s been widely reported he’s training for a match and could accompany John Cena’s side at Money in the Bank.
A fitting counter from Rhodes’ side could be global music star and proven WWE performer Bad Bunny, who was last seen defeating Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at Backlash 2023.
As a part-time member of a Rhodes-led faction, Bad Bunny would be the perfect foil for Scott.
