It is time for Chris Jericho to form yet another stable in AEW.

After The Inner Circle and the Jericho Appreciation Society, it is time for the third faction under Jericho’s guidance.

This time the self-proclaimed ‘Wizard’ is looking to recruit young and forgotten stars from the lower tiers of the AEW card under Jericho’s ‘learning tree’.

If that sounds familiar, yes this is exactly what Brian Myers did about two years ago in TNA.

But aside from fresh ideas, Jericho is going to teach his new students everything he knows as they enter the “Jericho Vortex”.

With Big Bill we already know about one name, but who is going to join the former Tag Team Champion?

6. Lee Johnson

The 26 year-old has been with AEW since the very beginning and has not done anything of note since Cody Rhodes left.

Throughout his seven-year career, he’s never held gold and most of his appearances are limited to Ring of Honor.

Unlike his wife, Julia Hart, who has enjoyed great success as a performer, “Big Shotty” is still waiting for his big shot.

Maybe joining the former Y2J would help Lee Johnson to get more TV time and grow as an on-screen character.

5. Griff Garrison

Do you remember Griff Garrison? If you do, you must be a follower of the American indie-scene or a subscriber to HonorClub.

Because Garrison rarely shows up on Rampage, Collision or even Dynamite these days. That used to be different.

Teaming with the previously mentioned Julia Hart and Brian Pillman Jr – now Lexis King in WWE – he enjoyed a level of success in the Varsity Blonds.

Since then the 26-year-old has kind of lost his footing in the company. AEW has a vast amount of underused talent. The Learning Tree could be Griff’s time to shine yet again.

4. Nick Comoroto

Comoroto has been in more stables and been through more gimmick changes than most can remember.

Currently, the 33-year-old is mostly showing his talent on the Ring of Honor roster while having the occasional bout on the American indie scene.

His look and impressive power arsenal in the ring should give him easy access to fantastic crowd reactions. However, he has yet to capitalise on that.

If Chris Jericho chooses to bring in Comoroto, this is the guy to put front and centre as the No.1 pupil under the Learning Tree.

3. Leila Grey

Ever since Jade Cargill left, we have not seen Leila Grey on AEW programming.

Since then she’s appeared on Netflix’s hit show “Wrestlers”, something AEW failed to capitalize on.

She only just re-emerged in the Tony-Khan-Universe in a losing effort against Yuka Sakazaki on Ring of Honor.

Grey is a very fresh character in the international wrestling world and could benefit from some Jericho wizardry.

2. Leyla Hirsch

Legit Leyla Hirsch is easily one of the greatest hopes of women’s wrestling in the entire world.

There is not a single bigger mismatch between talent and TV time in women’s wrestling. Leyla Hirsch is simply an incredible wrestler.

Even more shocking is that after her torn ACL in 2022, she returned to ROH 14 months later to little fanfare.

Chris Jericho needs to give her time to shine on TBS and TNT. She is more than ‘legit’. She is everything Chris Jericho should be looking for.

1. Action Andretti

Now this is a very interesting one. Remember when Action Andretti defeated Chris Jericho in his debut match on AEW TV?

You do not? Well, neither does anyone else because AEW has not really done anything with the singles wrestler Action Andretti since.

If Andretti lands TV time it is usually in a trios team with Top Flight. Aside from that he has the occasional match in ROH.

Andretti was pretty much touted as the “future of the company” when he beat Jericho. It might be time to deliver on that and put him in the Learning Tree group.

While it’s very much up for debate whether Andretti reaches the heights that Jericho clearly hoped he would hit, there’s only one way to send him on his way and that’s by pairing him with Jericho as his new mentor.

It makes a lot of sense given Andretti’s current position on the card and lack of exciting prospects in his future, and it sure would also make for a nice way to tie things together with his opening angle in the company.

It could be Andretti and others on this list who could really benefit from Jericho’s guidance, or it could be the usual suspects like Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara. We shall see.
