On Saturday, October 17, All Elite Wrestling returns to pay-per-view for WrestleDream 2026.
The company will look to continue to set the standard for excellent wrestling major events in Orlando.
With the promotion already announcing Mercedes Monè vs. Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship, there could be more bouts set to be announced in the coming weeks ahead of WrestleDream.
Here are four more matches to be added to AEW WrestleDream 2026.
AEW World Trios Championships: Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed) (c) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia)
At AEW All Out 2026, Swerve Strickland and The New Level defeated “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido to retain the AEW World Trios Championships.
Meanwhile, The Death Riders are still reeling from the loss of their fallen soldier, PAC.
Wanting to pay respect to the longest reigning AEW World Trios Champion of all time, the champions could grant his faction a shot at the gold.
It only feels right if Swerve and New Level defend the gold against Death Riders at AEW WrestleDream 2026.
AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shingo Takagi
At NJPW Destruction in Kobe 2026, Shingo Takagi defeated Claudio Castagnoli.
Following this match, Takagi issued a challenge to Castagnoli’s Death Riders leader Jon Moxley.
While Takagi wanted this in NJPW, Moxley offering a title shot could be key to bring Shingo back to AEW.
Moxley defending against Shingo would really fit the original theme of WrestleDream perfectly.
AEW World Tag Team Championships: Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight)
The Don Callis Family is looking to add some more gold to their ranks as of late.
At AEW All Out 2026, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight defeated Darby Allin and Steven Borden to become the number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Later in the show, Young Bucks defeated FTR and Cage and Cope in a Ladder Match to win the titles.
After losing a Tables Match, The Bucks could avenge this loss against the DCF at WrestleDream 2026.
AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Andrade El Idolo
Back at AEW All In London 2026, Andrade El Idolo won the Casino Gauntlet to win a guaranteed AEW World Title shot.
El Idolo has also showed his allegiance to Will Ospreay’s version of United Empire in All Elite Wrestling.
Ospreay is set to defend the title against Kazuchika Okada at Grand Slam France on October 6.
Andrade calling his shot after this bout could give Ospreay a formidable challenge at WrestleDream.
