AEW Stars To Sign With WWE NXT

Over the past two years, there have been several stars who left All Elite Wrestling and made their way to WWE NXT.

From Ethan Page to Blake Monroe, these names have made a major impact on the NXT brand in a significant way up and down the card.

Looking at the current AEW roster, there are other talents who could play pivotal roles on NXT moving forward.

Here are eight AEW stars to potentially sign with WWE NXT.

8. Anna Jay

Signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Anna Jay immediately received the spotlight by joining the Dark Order faction.

Becoming ‘The Queen Slayer,’ Jay was showcased as a star on the rise and would consistently be featured over the course of the next few years.

However, it was revealed in 2026 that Jay’s AEW contract was set to expire sometime this year.

At just 27 years old, Anna Jay leaving AEW to head to WWE NXT feels almost inevitable and could help her progress further in her career.

7. Kamille

Kamille was introduced in the National Wrestling Alliance as the “insurance policy” to Nick Aldis during his NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship reign.

‘The Brickhouse’ went on to become an accomplished in-ring performer herself by winning the NWA Women’s World Championship and holding the title for a dominant 813-day reign.

Then in 2024, Kamille signed with All Elite Wrestling, forming an alliance with Mercedes Mone. However, this partnership did not last long and eventually led to Kamille being written off television.

While she was away to film the American Gladiators reboot series, it feels like Kamille’s time with AEW may be coming to an end and could lead to her signing with WWE where she might become a major star for the NXT brand in the near future.

6. Wardlow

Speaking of American Gladiators, another AEW star who was featured on the reboot series is Wardlow.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, Wardlow has been regularly highlighted as a big man on the roster. First, he was introduced as the muscle to MJF and eventually decided to stand out on his own after betraying his boss.

After breaking free from Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Wardlow has become a three-time TNT Champion, but he has also had to deal with a number of injuries.

Wardlow leaving AEW after a seven year run would make him a highly sought after free agent, which could lead to him heading to WWE where he has everything it takes to be a top star on the NXT brand alongside the likes of Joe Hendry, Tony D’Angelo and Ricky Saints.

5. The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn)

Another pair of AEW stars who have garnered their fair share of success throughout their run with the company are The Gunns.

Initially introduced as the sons of Billy Gunn, Colten and Austin Gunn eventually stepped out of their father’s shadow to stand on their own two feet.

The Gunns are former AEW World Tag Team Champions and AEW World Trios Champions as part of the Bang Bang Gang.

Considering their father’s connection with the company, The Gunns eventually signing with WWE could make them one of the standout tag teams on the NXT brand in the years to come.

After making a name for herself in the NWA, Thunder Rosa went on to sign with AEW and became one of the company’s most popular female stars.

From her memorable rivalry with Dr Britt Baker DMD to her reign as AEW Women’s World Champion, Rosa has left her mark on the fabric of All Elite Wrestling over the past six years.

However, Rosa now finds herself as one of the female talents who isn’t always regularly featured in a significant way on AEW television.

Rosa heading to WWE could be the right move for her at this stage of her career where she can help the plethora of female talents who are the rise on the NXT brand like Zaria, Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey moving forward.

3. HOOK

Making his AEW debut in 2021, HOOK immediately became a popular figure on the roster right from the moment he stepped inside the squared circle.

The son of Taz had an air of mystery around his character and showcased a similar moveset to what his dad was known for.

Over the course of the past five years, HOOK is a former three-time FTW Champion and has become a loyal member of The Opps alongside Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata.

At 26 years old, it feels like HOOK might need to get some guidance and knowledge from the WWE Performance Center by signing with the promotion and joining the NXT brand.

Since joining the promotion, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen are former AEW World Tag Team Champions and have put on a litany of classic matches along the way.

With their inconsistent presence on AEW television and their contracts reportedly set to expire, Private Party could make their way to WWE where they may be an ideal fit for the NXT brand where they have the experience and skill to be the top tag team on the show.

1. Kris Statlander

Over the past seven years, Kris Statlander has become one of the most dependable female stars on the AEW roster.

Having more wins than any other woman in the company, Statlander became the first female star to win the TBS Championship and AEW Women’s World Championship.

Lately, fans have speculated about Statlander’s position in AEW and whether she should look to leave the promotion..

If she decides to leave AEW, Statlander is someone who should be a tantalizing free agent who could be a massive addition to WWE and instantly become a key player in the NXT women’s division.
