On July 12, AEW hosts its biggest show of the year – and its biggest ever on US soil – All In: Texas.
The stacked card showcases the incredible depth of AEW’s roster. Yet despite that, Tony Khan has remained adamant about continuing to bring in wrestling’s best free agents.
With that in mind, we are likely to see new names added to the roster in 2025 – with some perhaps even debuting at All In itself.
Here are six potential new AEW signings that could be heading into the company soon.
6. Gabe Kidd

British star Gabe Kidd has had a breakout year in 2025.
This began with a classic match against Kenny Omega at the NJPW/AEW crossover show Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome on 5 January – a bout that established him as one of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s top stars.
AEWs interest in the 28-year-old is clear – on the May 14 Beach Break edition of Dynamite, he appeared helping Jon Moxley retain his title against Samoa Joe, and also featured in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing.
As IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion, it seems New Japan is continuing to build around him – however, an eventual signing with AEW feels like an inevitability.

5. Syuri

On June 26 at Stardom’s The Conversion, fans witnessed a bout widely acknowledged as one of the matches of the year.
In the main event, former IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri was defeated for the title by Sareee in a brutal clash of stiff strikes and slick submissions.
After the loss, the former UFC veteran announced she was taking a break to “train overseas,” but vowed to return to Stardom “one day.”
Could this be a cryptic nod to an imminent AEW signing for the world-class striker?

4. Isla Dawn

It was reported by WrestleVotes on July 3 that AEW is interested in signing former WWE star Isla Dawn.
The 31-year-old was released as part of WWE’s February cuts, ending a run of over six years with the company.
During her WWE stint, Dawn captured both the NXT and WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Alba Fyre.
It seems the Scottish star may be the next to get the #AllElite treatment.

3. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler was one of the more surprising WWE cuts this year.
Across her near seven-year run, she held multiple accolades – including holding the NXT Women’s Title during its creative peak.
At 44, she still has significant upside – her uber-aggressive energy and MMA-influenced in-ring style setting her apart from her contemporaries.
Baszler could very well be a surprise entrant at AEW All In: Texas, entering the Women’s Casino Gauntlet.

2. Bea Priestley

Bea Priestley was another of this year’s WWE cuts.
As Blair Davenport, she had a three-and-a-half-year run with the company – where she was consistently underutilized.
She has since announced her return to Japan, where she found her greatest career success wrestling for top Joshi promotion Stardom – holding the company’s top title, the World of Stardom Championship – and will take part in this year’s 5STAR GP.
With Stardom’s relationship with AEW, could we see Priestley appear in AEW after the 5STAR GP ends in August?

1. Mistico

On June 18, AEW promoted its widely successful Grand Slam: Mexico edition of Dynamite.
The biggest reaction wasn’t for an AEW performer but for CMLL star Mistico, who received a thunderous ovation – the 42-year-old is, arguably, the hottest star in all of pro wrestling right now.
Therefore, it seems inevitable both AEW and WWE – given their own incursion into Mexico with AAA – will make a play for the star luchador.
With AEW’s CMLL relationship and WWE lurking, perhaps a dual-deal like Konosuke Takeshita’s could be worked out for Mistico.
