In just a few days AEW is going to celebrate one of their most historic shows to date.
Not only does Swerve Strickland have a chance at the AEW World Championship, but Kingston vs. Danielson is finally happening.
It is finally time for The Icon Sting to retire from in-ring competition for good after a legendary four-decade long career.
Besides that, the card seems rather unique. 9 matches seems rather short for the typical AEW matchcard.
On top of that, no Buy In Matches have been announced yet, so with that said here are some additional treats for Sunday’s card.
6. ROH Television Championship: Kyle Fletcher vs. Ethan Page

Although there is an argument to be made that RoH Championship Match should not happen on AEW shows, this one is different.
Not only is Kyle Fletcher part of AEW’s Don Callis Family stable, these two probably are doing the best work for the brand outside of the Women’s Division.
Both are destined to clash shortly and deserve that to be happening in front of a wider audience than Ring of Honor can offer to them.
This would be a perfect pre-show bout to get the crowd going before the main card begins proper.
Both could easily be described as generational talents, it is time for them to drop some jaws and cause a revolution.

5. Cope Open: Adam Copeland vs. Jay White

Easily the biggest stars under an AEW contract without a match at March’s biggest AEW event.
Imagine Copeland having one of his Cope Opens on a PPV for a change, only for it to be answered by the Switchblade.
While Copeland seemingly still eyeing the TNT Championship, White currently is flying a little bit under the radar as part of the Bang Bang Scissor Gang.
A revolutionary night calls for revolutionary ideas and this is one of them. However, with Adam Copeland looking to be out injured for Revolution this one may have to wait till AEW’s next PPV offering.

4. Trios Championship Eliminator Match: House of Black vs. Team TNA

The Trios Championship needs new No.1 Contenders.
Although this is a heel vs. heel contest, this is seemingly the match to go.
House of Black needs a change, and the team of Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh seems to be the right team for that.
And the winner of this match can going face whoever comes out on top in our next last-minute AEW Revolution card addition…

3. AEW Trios Championship: The Acclaimed vs. The Hardys & Mark Briscoe

According to the latest AEW Rankings published on their website, right behind Bullet Club Gold we can see Jeff and Matt Hardy are teaming with Mark Briscoe.
They have been gaining a lot of momentum as of late and The Acclaimed require competition and let’s face it: They are not facing their stable mates in the BCG.
Luckily, there are The Hardys and Mark Briscoe. This could lead to a spectacular match to get the crowd hyped for the main show as part of the Buy-In.
Much like our fifth entry this one would be very dependent on the health of Jeff Hardy, who suffered a broken nose several weeks ago in a match with Sammy Guevara.

2. Championship Eliminator Tag Team Match: Ricky Starks & Big Bill vs. The Dark Order

Not having the former AEW World Tag Team Championships Ricky Starks and Big Bill on the card seems like a letdown.
Again looking at the most recent AEW rankings, The Dark Order is in line for a tag team title shot, and the only team in their way are Starks & Bill.
This could have major implications for the World Tag Team Championship Retirement Match on the main show. AEW should capitalize on that.
Starks and Bill deserve far more than to slip into obscurity, so book them Tony.

1. Women’s Championship Eliminator Match: Thunder Rosa vs. Hikaru Shida

Lastly, there is still unfortunately one Women’s Match on the card for Revolution.
Unfortunately, the TBS Champion Julia Hart is injured, but that does not mean couldn’t do a No.1 Contenders match cannot take place.
This could be either for the AEW Women’s World or TBS Championships, either way we need some more female presence on the card.
One match of nine is just not good enough, especially considering the overwhelming amount of talent on the women’s roster.
The rankings show us that Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida are deserving next contenders, so Revolution should be the place to determine the next challenger for either belt.
With Mercedes Mone just weeks away from her expected debut TK needs to put in some extra effort, especially given how much he’s likely paying the former Sasha Banks.
Of all the options to round the card out to an even 10, this is the one to go with.
