Over the past few years, a number of former champions from AEW have crossed the line and made the move to WWE.
Several of them are actually champions in WWE right now, with CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page and Blake Monroe all holding title gold on the main roster or in NXT.
Here are six former AEW champions that could sign with WWE soon.
6. Chris Jericho
Of the rumored potential new WWE signees from AEW, it seems that Chris Jericho could be the most likely to end up in the company.
With Jericho having been absent from AEW since April, it would seem that he will not return to AEW TV before his current contract with the company comes to a close.
Since there are reports stating that Jericho will be a free agent at the end of 2025, it could be that there is an imminent return for Jericho coming in the build to WrestleMania 42.
Able to arrive in the Royal Rumble for the Riyadh debut of the annual event, Jericho could also ring in the new year on the January 2 edition of SmackDown.

Particularly in the setting of the recent returns of icons from the same era in Nikki Bella and AJ Lee, it could be that Paige is making a return to WWE soon.

While there were reports that their contracts could be set to end with AEW over the summer, it seems the pair remain with the company for the time being.
With reported interest from WWE in regards to signing them, it may just be a matter of time before Zay & Quen join the NXT tag team division.
Bringing with them TV ready characters with an interactive fan entrance, Private Party could end up as top stars in NXT in 2026 with their unique combination of in-ring skills and charisma on the mic.
