AEW babyface turns coming soon: Three heels who will see the light ahead of WrestleDream

All Elite Wrestling has a few heel characters that have been embraced by the fans in a major way as of late.

From entire factions to former champions, these talents have been garnering more and more favorable reactions from the AEW audience.

Whether it be on an episode of AEW Dynamite and Collision or at the upcoming WrestleDream pay-per-view, these names could undergo a major babyface turn before long.

Here are three AEW stars to turn babyface coming soon.

Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd & Marina Shafir)

Throughout 2026, it is fair to say that The Death Riders have served the role of tweeners.

Depending on who they are facing, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd and Marina Shafir have either been babyface or heel over the past few months.

On Sunday, September 27, Death Riders member PAC shockingly passed away at the age of 40. This led to AEW remembering PAC with a tribute show on September 30 Dynamite, which saw The Death Riders featured as babyfaces.

After embracing their former enemy Bryan Danielson and losing PAC, there is no way AEW can present The Death Riders as anything but babyfaces from this point further.

Tommaso Ciampa

At AEW All Out 2026, Kazuchika Okada defeated Tommaso Ciampa to retain the AEW International Championship.

During the course of this bout, the Chicago crowd clearly chose Ciampa as the favorite in this title contest.

This was further solidified when Ciampa’s daughter Willow flipped off Okada to the delight of all the fans in attendance.

After being embraced in a significant way by the crowd, AEW should continue to present Ciampa in a babyface manner, allowing the fans to show their support for “The Psycho Killer.”

Thekla

Ever since returning to All Elite Wrestling at All In London 2026, Thekla has garnered more and more cheers from the fans.

Following All In, “The Toxic Spider” interrupted Mercedes Monè and was clearly chosen as the babyface in this feud by the audience.

After beating Willow Nightingale to become number one contender at AEW All Out 2026, Thekla will now challenge Monè for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream on October 17.

With this title bout already announced, Thekla should turn babyface and become an anti hero that will have the support of the fans against the more cocky heel champion in Mercedes Mone.
