Soon it is time for the season of surprises and gathering together with friends and family…
That’s right, Royal Rumble season is almost upon us.
A night of shock returns, debuts, and moments in time that could never happen on a regular show.
The Royal Rumble concept has withstood the test of time and fans around the world are looking forward to the annual extravaganza.
Right now we are entering a season of speculation – which stars are going to show up in hopes for a spot in the main event of WrestleMania?
One thing is for sure when it comes to one of those potential surprises… you can’t see him!
8. John Cena

The 16-Time World Champion left WWE last month after a devastating loss against Solo Sikoa.
Certainly, Cena is not just done and ready to ride off into the sunset, though. A big showing at the Rumble and a match at WrestleMania should be in store.
Cena has hinted at retirement a couple of times in recent years and 2024 might be the one.
The big question is: Who will Cena be having a staredown with?

7. Kazuchika Okada

It appears that Okada could be a realistic option for the Royal Rumble 2024. WWE are rumored to have renewed interest in Okada recently, as his NJPW contract is coming to an end in January 2024 – perfect timing for the Royal Rumble.
In WWE, Okada would have a chance to work a different style and show a new facet in his 16-year-long career.
We are living in exciting times and hearing the coin toss during the Royal Rumble match would certainly send fans around the world into a frenzy.
Plus, he would not be the only Japanese star who could make an impact on the very same night…

6. Giulia

The beloved Japanese star Giulia could make her WWE debut during the women’s Royal Rumble match!
She’s a STARDOM legend and WWE are reportedly in talks about her transition to the company.
Damage CTRL are apparently looking to add more members to their team and Bayley being kicked out in favour of Giulia would be a monumental Rumble spot.
It’s possible her current contract won’t expire in time for the Rumble, but it would be great timing if it does.

5. Chris Masters

There has never been a better time to bring back “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters.
The likes of MVP and Carlito have shown that there is a nostalgic market for the stars of the mid-to-late 2000s in WWE these days.
Masters appears to take fewer dates with the NWA, a promotion he appeared on as a regular in the last three years.
With his former tag team partner Carlito back in the mix, and his arch-rival Bobby Lashley looking for new challengers, it might be time for Masters to make a return at the Rumble.

4. QT Marshall

The AEW star is finishing up with Tony Khan this month and is heading to pastures new starting in January 2024.
He personally believes that he has a lot to offer inside the squared circle and he is not the only firm believer in that statement.
Cody Rhodes, a friend of QT, is an avid supporter of the man who runs the Nightmare Factory.
Maybe Rhodes can bring QT in for a Rumble spot and we will see what happens from there.

3. MJF

Although the word in the street is that MJF has signed a new contract with AEW already, there is no official word on it yet. In theory, MJF is still ready to go to WWE.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman has all the tools to succeed over at “the other company” and why should he not jump ship to see what else is there to do?
However, we do have to note that he is still the AEW World Champion and the man has carried the company on his back for over a year.
But who knows, perhaps “The Devil” is All In on Sports Entertainment and the Royal Rumble.

2. Tyler Breeze

While this would most likely only serve as a cameo, it makes so much sense to do it now, wit the Royal Rumble 2024 airing from Florida, the home of NXT. And not many names represent the early NXT more than Tyler Breeze.
In addition, it is the first year that WWE is under the full creative control of Triple H. And that is not all – he is still under a WWE contract.
Just not as a wrestler, but as a featured character for WWE’s YouTube Channel UpUpDownDown.
Just imagine the pop this man would get if he showed up at the Rumble… Look, everyone… IT’S TYLER!

1. Sasha Banks

Rumour has it that Sasha Banks, currently known as Mercedes Mone, may be ready to return home.
There have been many signs that the 31-year old is heading back into the arms of WWE after her injury.
I mean, Bayley might need some help soon.
Who better than Sasha Banks, right?
And against popular belief, WWE has certainly become a changed place right now.
It is not what it was when Banks left the company in 2022.
3…2….1 and the Sky is the Limit.
