While this past Monday’s WWE Raw saw the returns of Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and AJ Lee, there could still be even more stars returning at Survivor Series 2025.
From those who have been out of action for months due to injury, to others that have seen action internationally — there are some intriguing possible returns still ahead in San Diego.
Here are eight possible returns at WWE Survivor Series 2025.
8. Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has been out of action in WWE since picking up an injury during a match with Kairi Sane in June, leading to a subsequent shoulder surgery and rehab.
While Liv Morgan is reportedly set for return to WWE in ‘early 2026’, this date could potentially come sooner.
With an evolving WWE women’s division on WWE Raw, another big change for the former champion has been reported with Morgan expected to return as a babyface.
Potentially re-igniting her previous feud with Nikki Bella, now that Bella is a heel — WWE fans could end up still seeing the originally planned showdown between Morgan and Bella but in a brand new way.

7. Austin Theory

One name that was reported for the men’s WarGames match that ended up seemingly scrapped from the plans in the wake of Seth Rollins’ injury is Austin Theory.
While subsequent reports noted that there were still some backstage that were pushing for Theory to be included, in the end he was seemingly replaced on the team.
With the addition of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in place of the originally reported Seth Rollins and Austin Theory — it remains to be seen what could be next for Theory.
Last appearing on TV seemingly poised for a babyface turn, it could be that Theory’s reappearance ends up being something entirely unexpected.

6. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu has been out of action in WWE since taking time off to have a dental surgery with his exact timeline for return still unknown.
With Fatu’s absence being explained on-screen by an attack by an unknown assailant, he has yet to return to action or to seek revenge.
Potentially returning at Survivor Series in order to get involved in the WarGames match, it would make complete sense to see Fatu strike in San Diego.
With most fingers pointing to Drew McIntyre being responsible for the attack, perhaps a big reveal will unfold something that no one sees coming.

5. Brie Bella

One Survivor Series match that was confirmed on the November 17 edition of WWE Raw was Nikki Bella taking on Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
While some fans expected to see the return of Brie Bella at some point since Nikki has returned, perhaps twin magic was awaiting Bella’s heel turn.
Able to be united on screen in being bad, the pair could end up making a much bigger impact on the WWE women’s division as returning legendary heels rather than the more supportive and empowerment focused personas from elsewhere in pop culture.
Potentially making a surprise return that leads to Bella winning her first WWE championship in a decade, Brie Mode could finally be re-activated.

4. Randy Orton

One top WWE name that has been out of action as of late is Randy Orton.
However, with an ongoing feud with The Vision, Drew McIntyre and history with Logan Paul — Randy Orton seems like a likely return around the men’s WarGames match.
Potentially popping up as a surprise outside force during the Survivor Series WarGames match, Orton is currently a missing piece of the all-star babyface WarGames team.
With the squad of CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and The Usos set to face off against Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar — The Viper may be waiting to strike.

3. Bianca Belair

A return to action that fans have been patiently waiting for is the EST, Bianca Belair.
Out of action due to an injury she sustained during the triple-threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41.
With the injury turning out to be more complex than originally thought — with Belair’s knuckles injured in addition to multiple fractured fingers — her time away from in-ring competition has been longer than expected.
Still out of action, Belair has recently commented that she continues to be hopeful for an in-ring return in the near future.

2. Santos Escobar

One of the most intriguing WWE contract stories in 2025 was that of Santos Escobar.
When his previous contract with WWE expired in October and he had not signed a new one and entered free agency. However, his departure was short-lived as he ended up re-signing within the same week.
While he was reportedly set to return to a new brand (WWE Raw) and with a new character, he has yet to make a comeback. Potentially arriving as a masked heel, Escobar could make a major impact if he were to unite with Dominik Mysterio.
With a history in AAA as well as with Rey Mysterio, it could be that Escobar is primed for an unholy union with Dirty Dom. Dominik Mysterio is set to face off against John Cena at Survivor Series WarGames for the Intercontinental Championship.

1. Omos

A return that could pop-up anywhere on the card at Survivor Series 2025 is Omos.
With a few different potential new allies on the roster for “The Nigerian Giant”, his return to the main roster could be coming sooner rather than later.
After making appearances in Pro Wrestling NOAH and AAA, Omos could definitely end up being an unlikely force for one of the main roster stars.
Whether he is actually a bodyguard for Becky Lynch as the duo have joked about on social media or something else entirely, Omos would be able to be a fun surprise that makes a big impact.
