2025 is coming to a close with many things about to change over on WWE Monday Night Raw as the calendar changes to 2026.
The new year will offer some productive changes to the red brand that will allow new stars to emerge and make a name for themselves.
When it comes to 2026, Raw could see new champions being crowned and new rivalries starting that could dominate TV time moving forward.
Here are six potential changes to WWE Raw in 2026.
6. No More John Cena
On the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, John Cena competed in the final match of his career.
Tapping out to GUNTHER, Cena closed out his legendary career with one final emphatic battle in Washington, DC.
With this marking his final bout, it means that 2026 will be the first year since 2001 that Cena will not be wrestling in a WWE ring.
No more John Cena could be one of the more intriguing things to watch on WWE Raw and the company overall as life without “The Greatest of All Time” will provide new obstacles.

5. WWE Draft Shakes Things Up
In 2025, WWE did not hold its annual Draft where stars move between the two main brands in the company.
With no draft, there was not as much roster movement with stars going between the brands to find a new home.
This will surely change in 2026 with a WWE Draft needed to freshen up both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown desperately.
The WWE Draft making its return could shake things up in a massive way and see top stars head to another brand where they will create some tantalizing matchups.

4. Rhea Ripley Goes After Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Women’s World Championship
For much of 2025, Rhea Ripley had been 100% focused on recapturing the WWE Women’s World Championship after losing the title to IYO SKY in March.
From challenging SKY and Bianca Belair at WWE Evolution to another three-way when Naomi was champion, Ripley has been hot on the pursuit of the top prize for the Raw women’s division.
With the calendar changing over to 2026, Ripley could go back after the WWE Women’s World Championship, which is currently held by Stephanie Vaquer.
Ripley facing off with Vaquer should offer a must watch encounter for the gold at a huge PLE in the new year like Royal Rumble 2026 or WrestleMania 42.

3. Paige Makes Her Comeback
In March 2025, Saraya announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling after a three-year run with the promotion.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion made it no secret that she would love to make her return to WWE at some point.
Saraya returning to WWE as Paige has been something rumored and discussed over the past few months.
Paige making her comeback to the current WWE Raw women’s division would provide a huge boost in star power and experience, while offering something new to the scene at the moment.

2. Roman Reigns Targets The World Heavyweight Championship
At WWE Survivor Series 2025, Roman Reigns, The Usos, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes will team to face Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in the Men’s WarGames Match.
On the November 24 episode of Monday Night Raw heading into Survivor Series, Reigns went face-to-face with two of his WarGames partners, Punk and Rhodes.
Indicating that he has his eyes on one of their titles, the segment teased a potential showdown between Reigns and Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Now that Punk has the top prize on WWE Raw, an inevitable singles meeting with “The OTC” was inevitable and should come to fruition at WrestleMania 42 next year.

1. Seth Rollins Is Back For Revenge On The Vision
On the October 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman turned on Seth Rollins, excommunicating him from the group.
Sidelined with a serious shoulder injury, Rollins has been out of action since the betrayal from The Vision, but his wife Becky Lynch promised his vengeance against his former stablemates when he returns.
After his most recent update, it seems like Rollins coming back ahead of WrestleMania 42 is not out of the realm of possibility.
Rollins returning could lead to him looking for revenge against The Vision with this storyline becoming one of the centerpieces of WWE Raw in 2026.
