Ahead of WrestleMania 41, WWE announced that they had acquired the Mexican promotion, Lucha Libre AAA.

Ever since then, fans have seen various WWE stars make their presence known in AAA, whether it be Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano or Lola Vice and Bayley.

With all the success for these various names, there could be other talent who make their way to AAA in the coming weeks and months.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join AAA.

7. Fraxiom

Since forming as a tag team, Fraxiom have stood from the pack as one of the best duos in all of WWE today.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer have displayed their stunning agility and amazing synergy inside the squared circle together.

Whether it be on WWE NXT or Friday Night SmackDown, Fraxiom have proven to be a spectacular tandem that is more than a match for any duo in the company right now.

Fraxiom joining Lucha Libre AAA could bring some of their tag team cohesiveness to the company that would allow them to be top contenders for the AAA Tag Team Championships.

6. Candice LeRae

Candice LeRae has been more concerned with breaking her husband Johnny Gargano out of his current funk on WWE TV.

However, LeRae is an accomplished in-ring performer in her own right that deserves to get some attention as a singles competitor.

In Lucha Libre AAA, Lady Flammer is enjoying a record-breaking 958-plus day reign as the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion.

Giving LeRae an opportunity at the gold could place him in more of a prominent spot than she currently finds herself on the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

5. Johnny Gargano

Speaking of Candice LeRae’s husband, Johnny Gargano has been down in the dumps ever since losing Axiom’s mask and his DIY tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa.

The former NXT Champion has been seen in a series of backstage segments lying face-down in a state of depression.

Still considered one of the most talented in-ring performers in WWE today, Gargano has what it takes to add something unique to the mix of stars on the AAA roster.

Gargano joining Lucha Libre AAA could offer another skilled star with plenty of experience that can deliver magic in the ring with the likes of El Hijo del Vikingo, Octagon Jr. or La Parka.

4. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed)

When they first made their debut on WWE NXT, The Creed Brothers were regarded as must-see prospects that could change tag team wrestling in the company.

With their athletic backgrounds and collegiate success, Julius and Brutus Creed were a duo that were built to win gold and did so by capturing the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Then in 2022, The Creeds made their way to the WWE main roster and eventually joined forces with Chad Gable in the American Made faction.

While they were not able to achieve the same success as they did on NXT, The Creed Brothers might be able to do more in Lucha Libre AAA and even find themselves aligning with The Original El Grande Americano in his current rivalry with Los Americanos in the promotion.

3. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)

In the summer of 2025, Street Profits lost the WWE Tag Team Championships to The Wyatt Sicks.

Since this loss and coming up short in their subsequent rematch, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have not been seen on WWE television.

Recently, Street Profits have made their return at a WWE NXT live event, but they have still not made their presence known on the company’s programming.

Ford and Dawkins returning to in-ring competition in Lucha Libre AAA could bolster the company’s tag team scene in a major way by adding one of the most decorated WWE tag teams of the past decade.

2. Zelina

Since acquiring Lucha Libre AAA, WWE has done a good job of adding any Spanish-speaking stars to the company over the past year.

Whether it be Lola Vice or Penta, these talents have added a great deal of star power and credibility to the roster.

Zelina is someone who has plenty of experience working for various promotions all over the world and would bring something new to the mix in AAA.

If she wants to be in title contention, Zelina’s best bet might be to join AAA where she could become a formidable opponent for reigning Reina de Reinas Champion Lady Flammer.

1. Damian Priest

Damian Priest is one of the more prominent stars on the WWE roster today as a former World Heavyweight Champion.

Recently, Priest formed a duo with his former Judgment Day “stablemate” R-Truth to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships from The MFTs on the March 20 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

With his Puerto Rican descent, Priest can speak the language of the Mexican crowds in Lucha Libre AAA.

Whether it be competing against the top talent in the promotion or challenging Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship, Priest checks all the boxes as someone who could walk into the company and immediately find himself in the main event picture right from day one.
