During WrestleMania 41 weekend, WWE announced their acquisition of the Mexican promotion, Lucha Libre AAA.
Since this acquisition, there have been several different WWE stars who have been established within AAA.
From Rey and Dominik Mysterio to Lola Vice and Nattie, these talents have helped to bring new eyes to the promotion and could open the door for more WWE stars to make similar debuts in the near future.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially debut in Lucha Libre AAA.
7. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
On the January 31 edition of AAA on FOX, there was a vignette that aired to advertise the debut of The War Raiders.
Erik and Ivar have played a prominent role in the WWE tag team division over the past few years.
Being multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions, The War Raiders could add a great deal if they made their way to AAA and started consistently contributing to the promotion.
Whether it be against El Ojo or even getting a shot at the Psycho Circus for the AAA Tag Team Championships, The War Raiders might be a better fit for the Mexican promotion more than they are in WWE right now.

6. The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed)
On the January 26 episode of Monday Night Raw, Alpha Academy defeated Los Americanos, The New Day and The Creed Brothers to become number one contenders for the World Tag Team Championships.
While they came to the main roster with a ton of buzz in 2023, The Creed Brothers have not had a consistent role on Monday Night Raw in recent months.
With their American Made leader Chad Gable being sidelined with injury, The Creeds have found themselves on the outside looking in for the Raw tag team division.
Considering how talented Brutus and Julius Creed have shown themselves to be inside the ring, it feels like they could find themselves with a major role in the AAA tag team scene if they made their debut for the promotion.

5. “The Original” El Grande Americano
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, “The Original” El Grande Americano made his return to the company during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
Confronting the current El Grande Americano, the two masked luchadors caused each other’s elimination from the Rumble.
While many believe Chad Gable to be behind the mask, it seems clear that the Original El Grande will be looking to reclaim his identity from this apparent imposter.
Although the majority of this feud is likely to take place in WWE, The Original El Grande should make his way to Lucha Libre AAA where our current El Grande Americano has become one of the most popular stars in Mexico.

4. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
After being absent from WWE TV over the past few months, Street Profits recently returned to in-ring action on a recent NXT live event.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are one of the most talented and decorated tag teams in all of WWE today.
Without a role to play on Friday Night SmackDown, it feels like WWE should figure out a way to use Street Profits moving forward.
Having the former WWE Tag Team Champions debut in AAA could further bolster the company’s tag team scene in a significant way.

3. Rusev
In April 2025, Rusev made his return to the company for the first time in five years and became part of the Monday Night Raw roster.
“The Bulgarian Brute” looked to be gaining momentum after winning his feud with Sheamus in the summer.
However, a series of losses to Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship and in the Last Time Is Now Tournament to Jey Uso led to him being absent from WWE programming over the past couple of months.
After his poor showing in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Rusev may need a fresh coat of paint and a new scenery like Lucha Libre AAA where his size and unbridled rage could see him become a top star for the Mexican promotion.

2. Aleister Black & Zelina
Aleister Black has established himself as a heel in WWE after turning this past summer during his rivalry with Damian Priest.
This feud led to Black aligning with his wife Zelina Vega to form a deadly duo that made Priest’s life a living heel.
However, Priest was able to get the last laugh when he defeated Black in an Ambulance Match on the January 2 Friday Night SmackDown.
Following this loss, Black could regain his momentum by making his debut in AAA where he and Zelina could be a dastardly duo that could become a threat to Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship.

1. Stephanie Vaquer
Back at the first WWE x AAA Worlds Collide: Los Angeles event, Stephanie Vaquer teamed with Lola Vice to defeat Chik Tormenta and Dalys.
This remains her only appearance for the company after Vaquer made her name in wrestling over in Mexico for the CMLL promotion.
Despite her status as the WWE Women’s World Champion on Monday Night Raw, Vaquer could be someone who adds a ton of star power and credibility for AAA if she were to make her debut.
Making a return to Mexico, Vaquer could be a valuable asset even as a special guest who can mix it up with any female star in the company right now.
