With TNA Wrestling confirming that a weekly show has been picked up to air on the AMC cable network, there could be big names coming soon.
From unlikely defectors from AEW to a familiar face from WWE who could be looking to show off a brand new persona — there are some interesting choices for who could pop-up for the inaugural broadcast.
Here are seven new TNA Wrestling signings that could arrive for the AMC TV debut of Thursday Night Impact! set to kick off January 15, 2026.
7. Chris Jericho

Instead of signing with WWE straight away, it could be a massive coup for TNA Wrestling to reveal on their inaugural broadcast on AMC that they signed the legend.
Able to be an absolute anchor for the new TV era for TNA Wrestling, Chris Jericho could be pivotal for the network launch of the company.
With the working relationship between TNA Wrestling and WWE, it would make complete sense to see Jericho pop-up on NXT or the main roster in the future but it would be a major move for Jericho to defect from AEW for TNA Wrestling.
In what would be just as fascinating from a business perspective as it is a personal one, the relaunch of the 9x World Champion on TNA Wrestling in January 2026 after long persisting rumors he was re-signing with WWE could be huge.

6. Lowkey Legend Nattie Neidhart

After an exciting vignette aired on WWE Raw featuring Maxxine Dupri grappling in black and white with what clearly seemed to be a familiar voice.
With Natalya potentially bringing her Lowkey Legend persona to the forefront in the near future, it could be an amazing relaunch to see her compete in TNA Wrestling.
Able to bring a brand new grit and tenacity to her performances, Nattie could see a complete rebrand possible in TNA Wrestling that wouldn’t be the right fit for WWE including mixed matches.
Still having a presence on WWE TV, it could be a fun wink to fans of both promotions when Natalya arrives on-screen and is underestimated by anyone — man or woman.

5. Danhausen

After having been missing from AEW action for nearly two years, it could be that Danhausen is on the verge of being out of his contract with Tony Khan.
Previously reported as expiring over the summer, it later was noted that time had been added due to injury which extended Danhausen’s commitment ‘into 2026’.
However, depending on how far into 2026 — he could definitely make a debut on the first episode of Thursday Night Impact! on AMC.
Able to bring a TV ready character that is able to move merchandise and draw in curious fans from across professional wrestling — Very Nice, Very Evil things could be coming to AMC soon.

4. Private Party

Former AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) have been out of action in AEW since dropping the titles to the Hurt Syndicate in January 2025.
After a long disappearance in AEW, the duo seem to also be awaiting the end of their current contracts in order to move on with their careers.
While reportedly with WWE interest in signing the pair, it could be that the duo would be a better fit for TNA Wrestling with eventual crossover to NXT in the future.
Bringing TV ready characters, charisma and a fan favorite interactive entrance — Private Party could be headed for brand new beginning on the January launch of Thursday Night Impact! on AMC.

3. AJ Styles

A major name that could make the leap and sign with TNA Wrestling could come from WWE in AJ Styles.
While WWE fans are aware that AJ Styles is nearing the end of his latest contract with the company and could be eyeing retirement — there could be an amazing swerve coming soon.
Potentially able to make an emotional story out of his impending departure, Styles could play it close to the vest about his future plans — until making a big debut on the inaugural Thursday Night Impact! on AMC.
Still able to tangle periodically with WWE stars, Styles would be a tremendous attraction star that could draw in brand new fans to TNA as well as vintage TNA fans who remember his past work fondly.

2. Thunder Rosa

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa hasn’t seen in-ring action since AEW All In Texas back in July.
Taking to her vlog after the event, Rosa noted that she was taking some time off but has yet to return to ROH or AEW action. She has however been taking up podcasting, hosting several shows on her YouTube channel including other AEW stars like Nyla Rose and Red Velvet.
While it isn’t entirely clear when Thunder Rosa’s contract with AEW might be up, she could be interested in taking on new challenges in TNA Wrestling.
Since there was likely time added to her initial contract due to injury, it might be possible but it might not be probable that Thunder Rosa could appear for the debut of Thursday Night Impact! on AMC but it seems in pro wrestling — anything can happen.

1. Bozilla

Bringing her hard hitting and compelling style stateside, Bozilla could join Thursday Night Impact! on AMC and reign supreme.
While the STARDOM powerhouse has previously appeared in AEW, there could be some very good reasons to make her way to TNA Wrestling.
Able to dominate in the current TNA Wrestling Knockouts division, Bozilla could quickly rise to power as a threatening champ to all of the Knockouts babyfaces.
A solid pick-up for the company as they transition to a major TV deal, Bozilla is an impressive force that could be showcased as a featured star from her debut.
