The WWE Raw After WrestleMania is usually the most anticipated episode of the company’s weekly TV of the year.
Coming off the heels of “The Show of Shows,” Monday Night Raw will give fans a glimpse of what’s ahead for the year to come with a night filled with surprises.
With WrestleMania 42 taking shape just one month away from the event, the surprises on the Raw after the two-night event should give some exciting moments that makes fans anticipate what the company will be delivering for the rest of 2026.
Here are seven potential surprises for WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42.
7. Sol Ruca Gets Called Up To The Main Roster
Over the past few months, Sol Ruca has been showing what she has to offer to the main roster audience.
After establishing her name on WWE NXT, Ruca has been appearing on the main roster with notable matches and moments, such as her 50-minute performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
While she is embroiled in a feud with her former friend ZARIA heading into NXT Stand & Deliver, it feels like Ruca is finishing up her time on the brand after making her debut back in 2022.
The WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42 should give Ruca the perfect platform to make her presence felt on the main roster and become a prominent star for the women’s division moving forward.
6. Bianca Belair Is Back
Following WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair revealed that she suffered a finger injury at the event that would keep her sidelined for some time.
However, the injury was worse than originally thought with Belair suffering a broken knuckle that required surgery.
With “The E.S.T. of WWE” ruled out for WrestleMania 42 one year later, it feels like fans will likely see her come back into the fold following “The Showcase of the Immortals.”
Belair returning on the WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42 would insert her right back in the mix and present her as a new threat for whomever walks out of the event as WWE Women’s World Champion between Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan.
5. Lucha Bros Reunite
In January 2025, Penta made his WWE debut and became part of the Monday Night Raw roster. Meanwhile, his brother Rey Fenix made his arrival on Friday Night SmackDown in April.
Over the course of the past year, Penta and Fenix have established themselves as singles stars without crossing paths and not teaming up in a WWE ring.
While Fenix has been finding his footing on the blue brand, Penta has soared and recently captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
On the WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42, the company could reunite the Lucha Bros for at least one night, having them team against the likes of The Usos, The New Day or even The Vision.

4. Ethan Page & Ricky Saints Join The Vision
Speaking of The Vision, the group has been shambles as of late due to some injuries to talent.
First, Bron Breakker became sidelined with an emergency hernia surgery. Meanwhile, Bronson Reed suffered a torn bicep injury during a match on WWE Raw ahead of Elimination Chamber 2026.
Now with just Logan Paul and Austin Theory active on WWE television, The Vision might be in need of some reinforcements at this time.
After reports circulated last year about their possible inclusion into the stable, NXT stars Ethan Page and Ricky Saints could get called up to the main roster and join The Vision on the WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
3. Paige Makes A Comeback
In March 2025, Saraya departed All Elite Wrestling after a three-year run with the promotion.
Since his AEW exit, Saraya has made it no secret that she is open to making a return to WWE as Paige once again.
The former WWE Divas Champion is someone who could immediately add a great deal of star power into the current landscape of the company’s women’s division upon her return.
Having Paige return on the WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42 would be a huge surprise that this episode usually offers.

2. Chris Jericho Returns
Over the past year, Chris Jericho has been in the headlines in regards to what his future in pro wrestling will be.
With reports of his AEW contract expiring, it was revealed that WWE had strong interest in Jericho making a return to the company.
This has led to various hints being made on WWE programming that make reference to Jericho in several different ways.
This could set the groundwork for Jericho to make his long anticipated return to WWE on the Raw After WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
1. Oba Femi Wins The World Heavyweight Championship
At WWE WrestleMania 42, Oba Femi will face Brock Lesnar after answering his open challenge for the two-night event.
Many fans believe that “The Ruler” should get the victory over “The Beast Incarnate” to cement himself as a top star in WWE after being called up to the main roster at the beginning of 2026.
After potentially scoring the biggest win of the year, WWE could strap a rocket to Femi’s back by having him shockingly challenge the winner of CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on the Raw After WrestleMania 42.
Femi defeating either Punk or Reigns in front of the sold-out crowd in Vegas would be a shocking moment that immediately thrust him directly into the spotlight as the biggest star on Monday Night Raw moving forward.
