Considering there are various stars on NXT and around the world chomping at the bit to also make their presence felt in WWE, the blue brand might become the new home for any number of competitors in the remaining months left this year.

Here are seven new WWE SmackDown stars to potentially debut soon

7. Sol Ruca

WWE NXT star Sol Ruca

On the July 11 edition of WWE SmackDown, Alexa Bliss defeated Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez and Sol Ruca in a four-way bout to preview the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Evolution 2025.

This contest also marked the first appearance for Ruca on the WWE main roster after several years on the NXT brand.

Over the course of the past three years, Sol has more than proven herself to an exciting and exhilarating high flyer who could be ready for Raw or SmackDown.

Moving over to the blue brand, the current NXT Women’s North American Champion could become a rising star who might not have to wait too long before holding even more gold on the main roster.

6. Trick Williams

Trick Williams has cemented himself as one of the biggest stars over on WWE NXT over the course of his four year stint on the brand.

Williams now finds himself showing the world how much star power he truly has by holding the TNA World Championship and being the company’s current top heel.

The two-time NXT Champion has made a few appearances on the WWE main roster where he has displayed why he belongs in the spotlight.

WWE SmackDown would be hard-pressed to find another NXT star who could ascend to main event status quite like Trick and has several avenues to start his climb, especially with his former friend-turned-rival Carmelo Hayes on the same brand.

5. Lola Vice

Another WWE NXT star who has been impressing fans over the last three years is Lola Vice.

Signing with WWE in 2022 after making a name for herself in the MMA field, Vice has showcased a great deal of charisma that should translate to the main stage.

With her presentation and hard hitting strikes, Lola has everything it should take to become a breakout star for Friday Night SmackDown.

Whether it be as a singles star or even potentially forming a pairing with Zelina Vega, Lola could be someone who could fill some intriguing roles for WWE SmackDown in the near future.

On the July 15 episode of WWE NXT, Tony D’Angelo defeated Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino.

This bout symbolically served as the closing of the story of The D’Angelo Family with Tony D leaving his signature hat behind on the ring post.

With “The Don of NXT” potentially done with, it might be the right time for the former NXT North American Champion to take his rightful spot on the WWE main roster.

Tony D has proven over the course of the past four years that he can be a reliable and dependable performer who could excel as an in-ring competitor and character better than most and should be able to do so on WWE SmackDown.

3. American Made (Chad Gable, Ivy Nile & The Creed Brothers)

WWE's American Made

Looking over at the Monday Night Raw roster, there might not be any group who feels ready for a change of scenery more than American Made.

The group consisting of Chad Gable, Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers have not been able to consistently find their footing on the red brand since forming in 2024.

Considering Gable is currently out of action with a serious shoulder injury, WWE could move his faction over to Friday Nights.

American Made on WWE SmackDown should give every member of the stable the chance to start anew and find some momentum in a way they haven’t been able to on Raw.

2. Jordynne Grace

Officially signing with WWE in January, many fans expected Jordynne Grace to show up on either Raw or SmackDown after a lengthy run with TNA Wrestling.

However, “The Juggernaut” made her way over to WWE NXT where she has established herself as one of the top stars on the brand.

After half a year over on NXT, Grace has displayed why she is truly ready made for the WWE main roster and could become a presence on either Raw or SmackDown.

With WWE SmackDown feeling like a more fitting home, Grace could immediately become one of the faces of the women’s division on the brand where she could have memorable matches and feuds with the likes of Giulia, Charlotte Flair or Tiffany Stratton.

1. Ricky Saints

Another WWE NXT star who many fans believed could have debuted on the main roster when they arrived in the company was Ricky Saints.

In February, Saints debuted on NXT just mere days after officially being released by All Elite Wrestling following a near-five year run with the promotion.

After winning his first singles gold in the company just a month into his run, Ricky may be on the verge of debuting on the WWE main roster in the near future.

Over on WWE SmackDown, Saints could have a spot for himself working alongside his real life best friend and former AEW peer Cody Rhodes where the company could have a compelling long term story with the two men.
