Here are seven new potential AEW tag team signings.

7. The Von Erichs

AEW ROH von erichs

While Ross and Marshall Von Erich are signed to AEW, their appearances have primarily come in ROH.

Appearing sporadically in 2025, there could definitely be an increased focus on the duo moving forward in AEW.

Bringing in more details about their famous lineage, the Von Erichs could be incredible babyfaces which are needed in the AEW tag team division which is rife with heels.

With the pair bringing in-ring charisma and athletic skills, allowing them to show some personality on AEW TV – perhaps seeking vengeance against Sammy Guevara & LFI for turning on them – could end up bringing out a whole new side of the team.

After being most recently released by WWE in February 2025, the Authors of Pain could be headed in a new direction.

Able to transition into the current AEW tag team landscape, there could be plenty of heavy hitting matches in their future.

Tangling with the likes of the Gates of Agony, Don Callis Family’s Hechicero & Lance Archer and LFI’s RUSH & Beast Mortos, there is plenty of big competition waiting to meet the duo.

A pair of familiar faces recently popped up in AEW in Nixon Newell (formerly Tegan Nox in WWE) and Miranda Alize.

Appearing in a backstage segment on the October 25 edition of AEW Collision, the duo could be poised to officially sign with the company in the future.

Interrupting an interview with Tay Melo and Anna Jay, Newell acknowledged her shared NXT history with Melo in the brief segment before going on to challenge the pair to a match.

Potentially set to join AEW and become massive rivals for the homegrown AEW team of TayJay, there could be even more competition coming to the new AEW women’s tag team division soon.

With the recent introduction of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship in AEW, it could be that some decorated veterans are soon to be All Elite.

Capturing tag team gold in both WWE and TNA, a debut in AEW from The IInspiration could be coming sooner rather than later.

With reports noting that the duo are currently free agents after their TNA Wrestling contracts expired after Bound for Glory, they could pop up in AEW any time.

However, they would likely have to drop the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship first given TNA’s affiliation with WWE.

Former WWE stars Dijak and Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin)

A pair of former WWE stars have united in MLW to form a new tag team in Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) and Donovan Dijak.

Appearing in MLW as the Skyscrapers, the pair remain the MLW Tag Team Champions after capturing the titles back in June 2025.

Potentially making for a dangerous new alliance, the pair would be arriving in AEW at an interesting time for the tag team division.

With numerous top teams in contention for the AEW World Tag Team Title, the size and strength advantage that Dyer & Dijak bring may make them the perfect opponents for the Hurt Syndicate, the Gates of Agony and even Jurassic Express.

2. Shotzi & Priscilla Kelly

Before they were released from WWE, Shotzi Blackheart and Gigi Dolin were finding their footing in a trio with Tatum Paxley in NXT called Chemical X.

However, after both Shotzi and Gigi were released from the company, the pair have gone on to return to indie wrestling, bringing about buzz wherever they travel.

While they have faced off in singles action so far on the indies, the compelling duo could also  make an amazing AEW tag team.

1. C&C Wrestle Factory (Cedric Alexander & Caprice Coleman)

A vintage ROH tag team that could be brought back into the fold in AEW for a surprise but purposeful appearance could be the C&C Wrestle Factory duo of Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman.

While Caprice Coleman may be a recognizable voice of ROH along with Ian Riccaboni now, he has also returned to in-ring action in 2025.

Resurrecting the duo could be a means to introduce Cedric Alexander to the AEW audience before turning on Coleman in a vicious manner before rejoining the Hurt Syndicate.

Serving as the perfect demonstration that the squad does indeed ‘Hurt People’, the group could assault the ROH color commentator seemingly without repercussion.
