7 Heel Turns At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026

With the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 fast approaching, there could be some major character flips coming up soon.

From potentially big reveals to others that could be more like a subtle shift to the dark side, there are some interesting choices for which WWE stars could turn heel at the event in Chicago.

Here are seven heel turns that could happen at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.

7. LA Knight

While LA Knight remains very popular with fans, it could be that if he persists in defeat, a new side of him could be unlocked.

After facing off in an Elimination Chamber qualifier against Austin Theory and Penta, it was eventually Knight who came up with the win, but a loss in the titular match could be devasting.

Leading to an epic crash out from the Mega Star, perhaps he will be the next WWE Raw star to end up barking at Raw GM Adam Pearce.

Since Pearce’s rivalry with Bron Breakker is on pause due to the latter’s injury, perhaps the story could continue but with Knight going up against authority instead.

6. Randy Orton

One possible heel turn that could happen in the Elimination Chamber bout itself may be Randy Orton.

With Orton presumably able to qualify for the match in addition to former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, there could certainly be a violent showdown between the pair.

Since Rhodes has been demonstrating an increased intensity as of late, it may be intriguing to see a tease that it will be Cody who turns on Randy, but in the end, The Viper strikes instead.

Creating some compelling moments to return to in the future, having Randy Orton channel some of his former heelish tendencies in the Elimination Chamber could set up some future stories.

5. Roman Reigns

While Roman Reigns continually rides the line between babyface and heel, there is certainly a side of him that is quite cunning that could be unlocked.

With his road to WrestleMania 42 feud set to see him face off against CM Punk at the big event, there will still be a stop for Punk ahead of their match.

Since Finn Balor has successfully goaded Punk into a bout at WWE Elimination Chamber, Reigns will be invested in the outcome.

Potentially seeing a rare double turn if Roman Reigns were to wage a vicious assault on Finn Balor before he had a fair shot at a match against Punk – and thereby denying Chicago the chance to see a complete match from Punk – it could be that Balor ends up coming out as a babyface, with Reigns as a clear heel for his match against Punk at Mania.

4. Lyra Valkyria

One star that could find continued frustration flip into a character change may be Lyra Valkyria.

While the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion has continued to be a persistent force in WWE, her character has failed to take flight as a babyface.

Potentially being more compelling to audiences with an increased edge – rather than being presented as a perpetual victim – there could be a new emergence ahead for Valkyria.

Able to overcome recent adversity and demonstrating more grit, the heel turn wouldn’t have to be dramatic but rather a marker that Lyra is willing to do whatever it takes to bet on herself.

3. Damian Priest

While Damian Priest has continued to be a babyface presence on SmackDown, his recent backstage demeanor could be a clue of a shift incoming.

Potentially looking to come back with a vengeance, it could be that there is a shift in allegiances from Priest at Elimination Chamber.

Possibly involving himself in a number of ways, it could be that a new alliance could form between Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Priest.

With Priest working as a henchman for McIntyre now, he could end up targeting Cody Rhodes and beginning a brand new storyline.

2. Penta

One interesting heel shift that could be subtle and mostly centered around targeting a babyface team might be that of Penta.

Potentially able to link up with Lucha Brothers tag team partner and brother Rey Fenix, the pair could end up becoming formidable heel foes for The Usos.

With Jimmy and Jey Uso seemingly devoid of specific challengers at the minute, bringing the Lucha Bros together on WWE Raw could make complete sense.

Able to bring a big battle between two pairs of brothers to WrestleMania 42, there could be a big match ahead.

1. Bianca Belair

With Bianca Belair still out of action since last year’s WrestleMania event due to injury, it could be that a major return is on the horizon.

If Belair were to return with a new thirst for violence at Elimination Chamber, a fun series of events could arise.

Potentially targeting the likes of Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY after their triple threat match last year was her last – or even popping back up to attack Stephanie Vaquer for replacing her in the hearts of fans – Belair could have some major heel motivation.

Able to return with a new and darker character ahead of an eventual redemption arc in WWE for the EST, it could be the perfect time to see Bianca Belair return at Elimination Chamber 2026.
