WWE Survivor Series will take place this Saturday, November 29 from Petco Park in San Diego, California with one final episode of SmackDown before then.
Heading into Survivor Series, there could be some changes that alter the landscape of Friday Night SmackDown.
Whether it be stars making their in-ring debut or making a return, these changes will shape how SmackDown will look coming out of this Saturday’s Survivor Series premium live event.
Here are seven potential changes to WWE SmackDown before Survivor Series 2025.
7. Nia Jax & Lash Legend Dominate The Show

Heading into WWE Survivor Series 2025, Lash Legend was called up to the main roster from the NXT brand.
Forming a partnership with Nia Jax, the duo have targeted Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss as well as cost them the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against The Kabuki Warriors.
Jax and Legend have yet to compete in tag team competition despite being scheduled to team together with Becky Lynch, Asuka and Kairi Sane in the Women’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series 2025.
WWE could help establish this pairing by placing them in tag team action on the November 28 episode of SmackDown ahead of this Saturday’s show.

6. Tiffany Stratton Returns

On the November 1 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jade Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
Since suffering this loss, Stratton has not appeared on WWE television with no signs of her returning anytime soon.
The former WWE Women’s Champion has been one of the most prominently featured female stars in the company this year.
Having Stratton make her return on the November 28 episode of SmackDown could set up a last minute title bout being set up against Jade Cargill at WWE Survivor Series 2025 the following night.

5. New Challenger For Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship

Since winning the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jade Cargill has showcased a brand new cocky attitude.
After turning heel on Tiffany Stratton, fans have been seeing the same Cargill that became a star in All Elite Wrestling before signing with WWE.
Showing more of her attitude, Cargill has displayed a more domineering persona against the likes of Michin and B-Fab in recent weeks.
Whether it be Chelsea Green or Giulia, there could be a number of new challengers who emerge to face Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship in the weeks and months to come.

4. Trick Williams Called Up In Ilja Dragunov’s United States Championship Open Challenge

On the November 25 Gold Rush Night 2 special of WWE NXT, Myles Borne defeated Trick Williams.
This marked yet another major loss for Williams after losing two consecutive NXT Championship matches to Ricky Saints in the past two months.
Having been pegged for a main roster callup for the past year, it feels like the right time to have Trick Williams make the move to Raw or SmackDown.
Trick answering Ilja Dragunov’s United States Championship Open Challenge could see him once again dethrone “The Mad Dragon” for a title after their battles in NXT last year.

3. Sami Zayn Leads Army Against Solo Sikoa & The MFTs

The main match that has been announced for the November 28 WWE SmackDown will see Solo Sikoa and The MFTs facing Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix and Motor City Machine Guns in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.
Ever since returning to Friday Night SmackDown, Zayn has been a thorn in the side of Solo and The MFTs, taking the United States Championship from their leader.
However, Sikoa and his family tree have made life a living hell for many stars on the SmackDown roster right now.
Sami Zayn leading this army against Solo and The MFTs should finally put this rivalry to bed and help everyone involved move on to something new following WWE Survivor Series 2025.

2. Drew McIntyre Targets Nick Aldis

After feeling screwed by the result of his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at the November 1 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Drew McIntyre delivered a Claymore to a referee on the November 7 SmackDown.
This led to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis suspending McIntyre after being fed up with his actions.
Now that McIntyre is back to take part in the Men’s WarGames, Aldis should be even more irate than anyone that the former WWE Champion has disobeyed him.
Upon his return from suspension officially, McIntyre could go after Aldis and deliver a Claymore to the SmackDown GM.

1. Brock Lesnar Targets Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE for the first time since Wrestlepalooza 2025 when he was revealed as the last member of The Vision’s team for the Men’s WarGames at Survivor Series 2025.
Upon returning, Lesnar went face-to-face with the last man to beat him, Cody Rhodes and proceeded to lay him out with a pair of German Suplexes.
After his prominent presence on the WrestleMania 42 poster, it is safe to think Brock Lesnar will find himself in one of the biggest matches of that weekend next April.
Lesnar challenging Cody Rhodes for the top prize on SmackDown would set up a tantalizing showdown between these former rivals in Las Vegas next year.
