Ahead of last year’s WWE WrestleMania 41 premium live event, the company announced their acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA.
The Mexican promotion has undergone a lot of changes and seen several stars from the company make their way to WWE.
From Mr. Iguana to La Parka, these talents have opened the door for other AAA stars to follow in their footsteps by making their debut to the company.
Here are seven AAA stars to potentially debut in WWE.
7. Laredo Kid
Laredo Kid has become one of the mainstays in Lucha Libre AAA thanks in large part to his historic AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.
For over 500 days, Laredo has established himself as one of the greatest Cruiserweight Champions in the company’s history.
Showcasing his speed and athleticism inside the squared circle, Laredo has displayed himself to be one of the better in-ring competitors.
Laredo showing up in WWE would be fascinating to see him mix it up with some top talent from the company moving forward.
6. Microman
Back at AAA TripleMania XXXIII in 2025, Microman went viral during a memorable interaction with Omos.
While mini performers are scarcely seen on WWE TV, the company has opened its door to fellow miniature competitors as of late.
At WWE Backlash 2026, Danhausen revealed his mystery tag team partner as Minihausen, played by Mascarita Sagrada, to defeat The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Microman making his WWE debut would be interesting and could see him join forces with Danhausen and Minihausen in some form or fashion in the near future.
5. Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Pagano, Panic Clown & Murder Clown)
Over the past year, various AAA stars have made their debut in WWE to play a variety of roles.
While AAA World Tag Team Champions Psycho Clown and Pagano have appeared as a duo, their faction has been directly used in the Mexican promotion only.
Psycho Circus coming together on WWE TV would be fitting and introduce one of the most prominent AAA stables to a new audience.
Pagano, Psycho, Panic and Murder Clown debuting in WWE could bring their ongoing storyline to the forefront and elevate their arc even further.
4. Flammer
Another historic champion in Lucha Libre AAA is the current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer.
For over 1,000 days now, Flammer has cemented her name in the record books as the longest reigning AAA Reina de Reinas Champion in the title’s history.
As of late, Flammer has picked up wins against the likes of Bayley, Nattie and more to further prove herself as a dominant champion.
Flammer making her first appearance in WWE could see her further establishing her gold as a world title by defending in the United States.
3. Galeno
On the May 2 edition of AAA on FOX, Mini Vikingo defeated El Hijo del Vikingo thanks to some help from El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
After the match, Omos attacked both Mini Vikingo and Dr. Wagner III until Galeno made his official AAA on FOX debut to make the save.
Standing side by side with his brother, it seems like Galeno is here to stay and wants to make an impact in AAA.
Wanting to give him an opportunity to break out like his brother as well, it makes sense for Galeno to get his official debut in WWE before long.
2. El Hijo del Vikingo
Since acquiring Lucha Libre AAA, WWE has positioned El Hijo del Vikingo as the face of the Mexican promotion.
Despite appearing on WWE Raw and WrestleMania 41, Vikingo has yet to make his in-ring return to the company at this time.
The former two-time AAA Mega Champion has quickly established himself as the top heel in the promotion and should be featured more in these crossover opportunities.
Vikingo getting a shot to showcase his skills and heel persona to the WWE audience would be the best way to further solidify the El Ojo member to the wider audience.
1. La Catalina
On the April 11 edition of AAA on FOX, La Catalina made her debut with the company by confronting Flammer.
After staking her claim for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, Catalina has positioned as a breakout star from the company.
Being invited to WrestleMania 42 and getting some backup from WWE stars as of late, Catalina feels like someone who will be at the top of AAA sooner rather than later.
To further cement herself as a top star in AAA, the best way to do this is by having Catalina make her official WWE debut in a meaningful way.
