With WWE Survivor Series fast approaching, there could be some brand new stories and title chases that ensue in the wake of the event.

With WWE having seen several recent title changes on Raw and SmackDown, it could that there are even more to come soon.

Here are six WWE title changes that could be coming soon.

6. Women’s Intercontinental Champion — Becky Lynch

After the surprise return of AJ Lee during Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Title bout against Maxxine Dupri caused a significant distraction for “The Man” — Dupri capitalized and captured victory.

With Becky going on an online crusade regarding the legality (or lack thereof) of AJ Lee to be at ringside for the bout, their feud seems far from over. It stands to reason that at some point down the line, Lynch will have a rematch against Maxxine and be able to pull off a victory.

While a subsequent showdown between AJ Lee and Becky Lynch seems inevitable, both women have to tackle an important challenge in the interim.

At Survivor Series 2025 in San Diego, both AJ Lee and Becky Lynch will compete in the WarGames match. While it will be AJ Lee’s first WarGames match, it will be Lynch’s third as she boasts an undefeated record in the brutal bout having been on the winning team in both 2022 and 2023.

5. World Tag Team Championship — The New Day

Although it was the new pairing of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee that ended the long reign of the Judgment Day over the tag team division on WWE Raw, it could be that the title change serves a larger purpose.

With The New Day continuing on their heel run, they could end up having a solid feud with the pair of Styles and Lee that eventually ends in the titles changing hands.

Capturing their 13th tag team title victory, there could be a return up ahead that brings it all together.

Never having properly feuded with The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) who are rumored to be re-signing with WWE when their current TNA Wrestling contracts end soon — there could be a very fun program on the way.

4. World Heavyweight Championship — Bron Breakker

On WWE TV, it was Bron Breakker who took Seth Rollins out of action when he turned on The Vision leader in a surprise betrayal.

However, much to the chagrin of Breakker — he wasn’t simply granted Rollins’ World Heavyweight Title, rather it was vacated and eventually won by CM Punk.

Potentially set to continue the rivalry with Punk in the place Rollins’ character, Bron Breakker could slide into the feud to tangle with Punk himself.

Able to be set up to not just beat CM Punk to capture the title but possibly take Rollins’ place in a feud against Roman Reigns ahead of WrestleMania 42 — it could end up becoming a huge year for Bron Breakker.

3. United States Championship — Austin Theory

With Ilja Dragunov continuing to host an open challenge for the United States Championship, a former US Champ could potentially be headed back to reclaim the title.

After being reported to be on the originally planned heel team for the men’s WarGames team with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Brock Lesnar — fans continued to watch and wait to see if Theory would end up making the team.

While it would seem that Rollins and Theory were ultimately replaced by Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in the bout instead, it doesn’t mean there couldn’t be a huge heel return for Austin Theory still ahead.

Potentially answering Draugnov’s open challenge and capturing victory, Theory could go on to debut his most dastardly iteration yet.

2. Women’s Tag Team Championship — Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY

Although Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss had an impressive run together, they recently lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles against the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).

While they could end up enacting revenge during the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames match, it doesn’t mean that the Kabuki Warriors will necessarily give them a rematch.

After the wildly popular singles stars Ripley and SKY have united to form an equally fan favorite tag team together, it would seem perhaps their feud with the Kabuki Warriors could become about the tag titles.

Possibly leading to a feud down the road with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss over getting them back or SmackDown’s Nia Jax & Lash Legend — there could be some interesting new stories ahead.

1. Women’s World Championship — Nikki Bella

While Nikki Bella turned heel on Stephanie Vaquer on the November 3 edition of WWE Raw, she would return the next week to attack her again.

Making it clear that she was not back in WWE to be anybody’s sidekick, Bella now has a title bout at Survivor Series in her hometown of San Diego, CA.

Challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship, it could be that her time to capture her first title in a decade is now.

With the looming return of Liv Morgan, it could be that WWE is still planning on Nikki Bella and Liv Morgan settling the rivalry that was started in the summer before Morgan was taken out of action due to injury – only this time with Morgan playing a babyface role.
