With factions dropping and adding members all the time, there could be numerous WWE stars set to defect from their current group.
From longstanding groups on the verge of collapse to another swap that could come as an unexpected shift in character, there could be several stars ready to depart their stables.
Here are six WWE stars that could be poised to leave their factions.
6. Dominik Mysterio leaves Judgment Day

It is possible that after his recent high profile encounters with John Cena, Dirty Dominik Mysterio could begin to get an even bigger ego than before.
Since Liv Morgan has returned, there is a conceivable route for the duo to splinter off on their own and leave the rest of the Judgment Day in the dust.
Easily able to splinter off into his own faction, it would be fascinating to see Mysterio inflate his ego even further with a new faction only to slowly watch him collapse.
Certainly set for a long term story arc that will see him openly beloved by fans in the future, leaving Judgment Day and failing at creating a new faction

5. Santos Escobar officially departs Legado del Fantasma

An interesting contract story in 2025 was that of Santos Escobar. After seeing his WWE contract expire he had a brief period of free agency before it was reported that he had re-signed.
However with reports of his re-signing came some teaser details about what might be next for the former leader of Legado del Fantasma.
Rumors suggesting that he was set for a singles push noted that he was likely to switch brands from Angel and Berto, thereby disbanding the group.
However since this has yet to come to fruition, there could be a new plan evolving for the return of Santos Escobar.

4. Ivy Nile leaves American Made

Although the group seems to be in a holding pattern awaiting the return of their leader Chad Gable, Ivy Nile recently had a transformative moment on WWE Raw.
After losing a bout to Maxxine Dupri, it could be that Ivy Nile sees the wisdom in linking up with the Lowkey Legend Nattie.
Perhaps having her own Dungeon Dolls renaissance, Nile could be an incredble addition to a growing group of women looking to possibly revolutionize the way women in professional wrestling are presented.
With a delicate balance between the gritty violence able to be showcased by their male counterparts with the Hollywood glamour that is expected of women on TV — Nattie and a new troupe of beautiful and powerful women could become trailblazers in media representation.

3. Tama Tonga leaves the MFTs

With Tama Tonga returning from having been injured ahead of WrestleMania 41 in order to re-align with Solo Sikoa and the MFTs, it could be that he has started to re-consider his position.
While the group continues to feud with the Wyatt Sicks
Tama Tonga could easily depart the SmackDown group and join forces with Jacob Fatu on WWE Raw to form a new off-shoot of the Bloodline saga.

2. Giulia turns on Kiana James

One potential breakup that could be coming soon is that between a SmackDown alliance.
Unfortunately, the partnership between Giulia and Kiana James doesn’t feel like it is catching fire on SmackDown.
Potentially able to have James link up with Nia Jax and Lash Legend to offer them her managerial services, Giulia should definitely turn on her first to have an interesting albeit short-lived feud.
Poised to perhaps swap brands to WWE Raw in 2026, Giulia would be better suited in competition with the likes of Stephanie Vaquer and Roxanne Perez on Netflix.

1. Roxanne Perez leaves Judgment Day

Certainly able to depart Judgment Day and immediately create her own faction, Perez has a unique ability to use her youth as a storyline.
Able to craft herself as the future female legend killer, Perez could certainly pick fights with the likes of AJ Lee, Nattie, Nikki Bella and even Liv Morgan.
Linking up with former partner Giulia, Perez could also bring any number of frightening allies with her from the NXT roster.
Potentially leading to the call-ups of Jordynne Grace or Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reed), Roxanne Perez’ exit from the Judgment Day could lead to the start of something new.
