There are a number of popular WWE Raw stars that could see their time on the brand coming to an end in the near future.
From those that would fit right in on SmackDown or NXT, there is at least one that could be considering a departure when their current contract with WWE expires.
Here are six WWE Raw stars that could be poised to leave the show.
6. GUNTHER

While GUNTHER was last seen in action in WWE at SummerSlam 2025, he has yet to return after his loss to CM Punk.
With Seth Rollins capturing the World Heavyweight Title shortly thereafter via cash-in of his Money in the Bank briefcase, GUNTHER would quietly slip away from WWE TV with his absence explained as being “out of action indefinitely”.
Although he continues to be rumored to be the planned final opponent for John Cena on December 13 in Washington, DC on Saturday Night’s Main Event – what is less clear is how he gets there.
With reports that there will be a tournament to determine who ends up facing Cena in his farewell match, it could be that GUNTHER returns on SmackDown in order to enter the tournament.

5. Austin Theory

While Austin Theory has been rumored to be on the upcoming heel squad for the men’s Survivor Series WarGames match, the recent injury to Seth Rollins could shake things up entirely.
Perhaps poised for a return, Theory could make a huge mark on the current SmackDown division.
With Ilja Dragunov currently proving to be a babyface champion holding the United States Championship, it could be Theory that returns as a heel to challenge him.
Conversely, a babyface Theory could emerge in alliance with the likes of Sami Zayn and Dragunov to take on Solo Sikoa and the MFTs.

4. Dragon Lee

One star that has recently been raising eyebrows in WWE in Dragon Lee. After capturing the World Tag Team Championship with AJ Styles, he went on to have a notable match against Dominik Mysterio in AAA for the AAA Mega Championship.
Dragon Lee’s future in WWE could include a move to SmackDown or possibly even a departure sometime in the coming months.
His current contract with the company is reportedly coming to an end in the not too distant future.
With WWE reportedly looking to lock Dragon Lee down into a new contract, there could be a brand new start and push awaiting Lee on SmackDown.

3. Logan Paul

Most recently appearing on WWE Raw in his latest spell in the company, Logan Paul could end up in a big feud on SmackDown or even NXT soon.
Last seen in action in a losing effort to John Cena at Clash in Paris 2025, The Maverick could return to WWE with a new persona or to a new brand.
Combining the forces of viral sensations, if it ended up that Logan Paul made his way to TNA Wrestling or NXT to challenge Joe Hendry, it would certainly make headlines.
Seemingly primed to want a presence on TV during the upcoming holiday season, Logan Paul could have an interesting re-introduction on SmackDown.

2. Los Americanos

One of the unsung heroes of WWE in 2025 is absolutely Ludwig Kaiser, who has assumed the El Grande Americano role to perfection.
Americano has been remarkable in his role, which came about after an injury to Chad Gable left the masked character vacant.
Adding in Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) to the squad, the trio are an enjoyable addition to their appearances on WWE Raw and even in AAA.
Able to bring their fun spirit to SmackDown as well, any configuration of the trio would be incredibly fun on the blue brand.

1. Kabuki Warriors

One team that could move on from WWE Raw in the near future is Asuka & Kairi Sane, the Kabuki Warriors.
When their current feud with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY comes to a close on Raw, it could be that the Kabuki Warriors could switch brands to SmackDown.
Able to face an entirely new set of foes – including the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss – Asuka & Kairi Sane could make the flip to Friday night.
With both pairs rumored to be involved in the upcoming women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, a change for the dynamic duo could be in order.
