WWE’s third brand, NXT, continues to serve as its developmental system – a destination that most signees must pass through on their way to the main roster.
Historically, however, call-ups from NXT to Raw or SmackDown haven’t always resulted into major success or sustained pushes for the graduating stars.
That said, the current NXT roster features several can’t-miss talents.
Here are six stars that Triple H will surely push when they make the transition to WWE’s flagship programming.
6. Oba Femi

Current NXT Champion Oba Femi appears to be on the very cusp of a transition to the main roster.
In storyline, he’s cleared out his list of challengers and is now set to face Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura at the Great American Bash on July 12.
Arguably, no one in NXT has the attributes more suited for main event stardom than Femi: still relatively new to the sport, he combines size, an explosive big-man moveset, natural charisma, and palpable big-match presence.
It would be a shock not to see him strapped with the proverbial rocket pack when he lands on Raw or SmackDown.

5. Jordynne Grace

Jordynne Grace made her long-expected move to WWE earlier this year, leaving TNA to sign a contract with NXT.
She’s currently set to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Title at the all-women’s Evolution PLE.
The 29-year-old has already appeared on the main roster, debuting as TNA Knockouts Champion during the 2024 Royal Rumble, and then entering the Rumble once again in 2025.
Already regarded as one of the best female wrestlers in North America, her stop in NXT feels like a temporary one – there are several big-time, in-ring programs awaiting her when she hits the main roster.

4. Myles Borne

Much has been made of the comparisons between NXT star Myles Borne and Randy Orton.
There’s little doubt that the 26-year-old’s moveset and look have been heavily influenced by Orton – but Borne possesses something that a young Orton always lacked: an inherent likeability.
Borne is the archetypal babyface, someone fans instinctively want to get behind.
He arguably needs to evolve his look and style to avoid coming across as derivative of one of WWE’s most iconic performers – but there’s no doubt he’s already being positioned for a push and could soon become a star in his own right.

3. Ricky Saints

Ricky Saints was brought into WWE from AEW due to his irrepressible star potential.
The 35-year-old possesses an ultra-palpable charisma that’s immediately obvious to fans.
While some questioned the need for him to go through NXT — given his body of work in AEW — it seems his time in developmental will be short-lived.
With high-profile backers in the company, including Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, there’s every chance Saints will receive the star push when he lands on the main roster.

2. Charlie Dempsey

The son of William Regal, Charlie Dempsey has now spent four years in NXT – between its UK and main iterations.
With his faction, the No Quarter Catch Crew, seemingly breaking down in storyline, it feels like a main roster call-up for the 28-year-old could be imminent.
As William Regal’s son, it seems Dempsey will be given every chance to succeed in WWE.
But he’s more than just a nepo baby – Dempsey is a supremely talented in-ring technician in his own right, one ready for a sustained main roster push.

1. Blake Monroe

After much speculation, AEW star Mariah May has officially signed with WWE, recently making her debut on NXT under the new name Blake Monroe.
WWE’s intentions seem clear – she was immediately thrust into a program with NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.
May’s AEW run culminated in one of the hottest feuds of the year, including the standout Hollywood Ending match against Toni Storm, definitively establishing her as a performer who can deliver at the top of the card.
With a major main roster push seemingly on the horizon, the real question is: how long will she remain in developmental?
