The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony remains one of the signature events of WrestleMania week.
Each year, legendary stars of the company’s past are handpicked to be immortalized in WWE’s version of wrestling’s hall of fame.
The 2025 class featured Triple H, The Natural Disasters, Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, and the iconic WrestleMania 13 clash between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart.
Here are six potential names we could see inducted in 2026.
6. Batista

Batista remains one of the most glaring omissions from WWE’s Hall of Fame after his planned induction in 2020 fell through.
Now a successful Hollywood star, Batista was one of the biggest names in WWE over the past two decades.
A six-time World Champion, he had iconic company feuds with former Evolution stablemate Triple H and delivered excellent matches over the years — including a standout series with The Undertaker, highlighted by their WrestleMania 23 clash.
His own busy schedule permitting, 2026 could be the year Batista takes his place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

5. The Hardy Boyz

The Hardy Boyz are firmly in the top tier of iconic WWE tag teams, and there’s a strong case to be made that they belong right at the very top.
The brothers are 13-time World Tag Team Champions, with 10 of those reigns coming in WWE alone.
More importantly, their pioneering use of ladders and tables helped shape the modern WWE style, influencing an entire generation of performers and redefining what fans expect from big-match storytelling — for better or worse.
Still having success as a team in TNA, a 2026 WWE Hall of Fame induction could be the right moment to honor their legacy, and perhaps set the stage for one final run in the company.

4. Mankind vs. The Undertaker

This year WWE took a page out of UFC’s playbook by inducting a bout into their Hall of Fame — selecting what many consider the greatest WrestleMania match of all time: Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13.
The question now is: which match should be next?
Few bouts are more iconic than Mankind vs. The Undertaker from King of the Ring 1998 – the sick bump Mick Foley took off the top of the cell is seared into the memory of generations of wrestling fans.
While no one would claim it’s a workrate classic, its impact and legacy are beyond question, making its eventual Hall of Fame induction feel inevitable, likely as soon as 2026.

3. Sid

In the wake of Sid’s untimely death last year at the age of 63, many fans and wrestlers alike called for him to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
He certainly has the credentials — a two-time WWF World Champion and two-time WCW World Champion.
Sid was one of the most iconic and recognizable stars of the 1990s: his look, presence, and unhinged promos made him unforgettable to an entire generation of fans.
2026 should be the year that “Psycho” Sid finally receives his Hall of Fame induction.

2. Brian Pillman

On the subject of unhinged characters, one man stands out above all others in the history of pro wrestling: Brian Pillman.
A star in WWE for only five months before his untimely, drug-related death in 1997, Pillman left a lasting impact on the entire industry.
He remains one of the most gifted in-ring workers and charismatic personalities of the 1990s — as seen in his WCW run and brief stint in ECW
With his son Lexis King now working in WWE, 2026 could be the perfect time to honor the legendary “Loose Cannon” with a Hall of Fame induction.

1. Chyna

Another glaring omission from WWE’s Hall of Fame is Chyna, who was recognized in DX’s induction as a group in 2019, but hasn’t been inducted as an individual.
Chyna was one of the most iconic stars of the Attitude Era — a period where the company was at its cultural peak.
A controversial post-wrestling career has, to this point, kept the trailblazing female performer out of the Hall of Fame.
However, earlier this year Paul Levesque noted that she would “for sure” get an induction one day — could that day be 2026?
