6 Title Changes At WWE Survivor Series 2025

With WWE already speeding toward the next big event at the end of November, Survivor Series ‘WarGames,’ there could be title changes coming soon.

There are some titles that look likely to change hands at the show, with some others that could be more surprising.

Here are six potential title changes coming up at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

6. Intercontinental Championship – John Cena

WWE's Dominik Mysterio and John Cena

While John Cena has undoubtedly had a storied career in WWE, there remains one title that has eluded him, thereby preventing him from achieving a WWE Grand Slam.

Cena has never won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, a wrong that could be rectified at Survivor Series WarGames.

With Survivor Series being the last appearance by John Cena before his final match two weeks later on December 13, a potential showdown with Dominik Mysterio may be Cena’s last shot.

With the show taking place in the hometown of Dominik and Rey Mysterio – San Diego – Rey could potentially make his return for John Cena’s last premium live event match, possibly resulting in a title change.

5. Undisputed WWE Championship – Randy Orton

Cody Rhodes was able to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship by beating Drew McIntyre at the November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

With McIntyre unlikely to take the loss as the end of his road to reclaim a top title in WWE, he could very well keep the pressure on Cody in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series.

Potentially settling their scores in a multi-man match, it could be that Rhodes looks to defend the title against McIntyre and a returning Randy Orton.

With time left to make some moves with the Undisputed WWE Championship to get set for WrestleMania season, a change now might make sense to create some more compelling drama later.

4. Women’s United States Championship – Chelsea Green

Current WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia has managed to retain her title as she has fended off challengers like Michin and Zelina Vega, but inaugural titleholder Chelsea Green is committed to getting the title back.

With Green making it clear that she is still gunning for Giulia, it could be that a growing rivalry ahead of Survivor Series ‘WarGames’ and a title change could end up having ripple effects on SmackDown.

Green reclaiming the United States Championship could be a solid segue for Ethan Page to be called up to the main roster, joining Alba Fyre & Chelsea Green on the blue brand.

Able to continue their growing alliance but on the main roster, the proud Canadian duo could continue to wreak havoc together, a dynamic which has been very entertaining on NXT.

3. World Heavyweight Championship – Brock Lesnar

After CM Punk was able to capture the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he could be facing his biggest rival yet.

With the return of Brock Lesnar, it would seem that there is a big collision course on the horizon between the top stars in WWE ahead of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

While it could be Cody Rhodes headed for a feud with Brock Lesnar, an interesting dynamic could play out between Punk and The Beast should Lesnar be the one to dethrone CM Punk at Survivor Series ‘WarGames.’

The pair already have a built-in rivalry surrounding their dynamics with Paul Heyman. Lesnar seems to be the last Heyman Guy standing who hasn’t been specifically betrayed by Heyman himself, which could lead him to the World Title and a future clash with Bron Breakker.

2. Women’s World Championship – Roxanne Perez

While Stephanie Vaquer was able to pick up the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship, she has continued to fend off a persistent challenger in Roxanne Perez.

Recent reports that Liv Morgan could be returning to action in WWE in “early 2026” also came with the note that it could potentially be sooner.

If Roxanne Perez was able to capture the Women’s World Championship at Survivor Series ‘WarGames,’ the return of Liv Morgan could be just around the corner.

Expected to return as a babyface, Morgan has plenty of reason to immediately target Perez who effectively took over her spot in the Judgment Day.

1. World Tag Team Championship – The New Day

With the New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston clearly still chasing the WWE World Tag Team Championship, there could be a long term reason why the title is poised to move around.

With AJ Styles and Dragon Lee a fun pair, they could be transitional champions set for a big title bout at Survivor Series.

Potentially dropping the title to The New Day, there could be a plan ahead for potential the return of Matt & Jeff Hardy to begin building a dream feud with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.

With New Day able to maximize their heel antics up against the returning nostalgic fan favorites the Hardy Boyz, there could be months of conflict kicking off with a big win for the decorated tag team in San Diego.
