WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Money in the Bank, takes place at the Intuit Dome in California on Saturday, June 7.

Growing in stature in recent years, the event has become one of WWE’s “Big Five,” alongside WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series.

Given its prominence on the WWE calendar, there’s a strong possibility we’ll see several title changes on the night.

Here are six championship shifts that could happen at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.

6. Rhea Ripley Captures Women’s World Championship

IYO SKY’s current run as Women’s World Champion has captivated WWE audiences, as she remains massively over while delivering some of the best in-ring performances in the company.

On the May 12 edition of Raw, it was strongly hinted that former champion Rhea Ripley is once again eyeing the title, following a tag team victory alongside SKY against Giulia and Roxanne Perez.

While nothing has been officially announced, it appears a championship clash between SKY and Ripley could take place at Money in the Bank.

If the match happens, there’s a strong chance Rhea could defeat SKY and reclaim the Women’s World Championship.

5. Becky Lynch Wins The Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Despite losing to Lyra Valkyria at WWE Backlash, it appears Becky Lynch’s pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship is far from over.

Following the match, Lynch continued her attack on the champion, suggesting the feud is set to continue.

While not yet announced, a rematch could realistically take place at Money in the Bank on June 7.

If Lynch captures the title, it could pave the way for the return of Bayley – whom Lynch injured in storyline – as her first challenger.

4. New Day Lose World Tag Team Championship

WWE stars New Day

The New Day defeated The War Raiders on the first night of WrestleMania 41 to capture the World Tag Team Championship.

The question now is: how long will their ninth run with the titles last?

Their rivalry with The War Raiders has continued, and on the May 12 edition of Raw, The New Day cost the Raiders a match against American Made, further fuelling the feud.

While not yet announced, The New Day could defend their titles at WWE Money in the Bank – with a rematch against The War Raiders or a three-way involving American Made potentially putting their reign in serious jeopardy.

3. Finn Bálor Beats “Dirty” Dom

The Judgment Day appears to be heading toward a breakup, as tension between Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio continues to build.

Bálor’s pursuit of the WWE Intercontinental Championship is certain to erupt into open conflict in the coming weeks.

This could all come to a head at Money in the Bank, with a one-on-one clash between the two finally taking place.

Could “Dirty” Dom lose his title on June 7 – and with it, see The Judgment Day split apart for good?

2. Tiffany Stratton Loses The WWE Women’s Championship

Since WrestleMania, SmackDown’s women’s division has been centred around a four-way feud between WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Jade Cargill, and Naomi.

While Stratton defeated Jax on the May 16 edition of SmackDown, interference from both Cargill and Naomi suggests the rivalry is not over.

A four-way title match at Money in the Bank now seems likely – assuming none of them qualify for the MITB ladder match instead.

In a multi-woman match, Stratton could easily lose her title to one of the three challengers, or even fall victim to a surprise cash-in from the eventual briefcase winner, perhaps even Charlotte Flair, given their still-unresolved feud.

1. Roxanne Perez Cashes In & Wins Women’s World Championship

With the briefcase up for grabs in the Women’s Money in the Bank match, an immediate cash-in feels like a distinct possibility.

While Alexa Bliss is currently the only confirmed participant, it seems likely – given her current push on WWE Raw – that Roxanne Perez will also be part of the match.

“The Prodigy” has been feuding with both IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley since WrestleMania 41, and winning the briefcase could position her to cash in on the victor of the Women’s World Championship bout.

Could Money in the Bank end with a dramatic cash-in and Roxanne Perez walking away as the new champion?
