In recent years, Money in the Bank has cemented itself as one of WWE’s “Big Five” annual events, and with over 14,000 fans set to pack California’s Intuit Dome, this year’s event promises to be an eventful show.
That makes it a prime opportunity for WWE to announce new signings or introduce new talent.
Here are the stars who could make their presence felt on the show.
6. Mariah May

On the 3 June edition of NXT, former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May finally made her long-rumored WWE debut.
It appears she’ll spend some time in NXT before heading to the main roster – but notably, she wasn’t named on-screen.
That strongly suggests a new WWE ring name is coming for the new signee, with reports stating that this will in fact be the case.
What better place to debut it than with a vignette or crowd appearance at Money in the Bank?

5. El Hijo del Vikingo

New AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo has appeared on WWE programming on several occasions since the company announced its intended purchase of AAA over WrestleMania weekend.
The breathtaking 28-year-old luchador is set to defend his title against Chad Gable at the joint AAA/WWE World’s Collide event earlier in the day.
With Gable pulling double duty at Money in the Bank in his mock luchador gimmick, El Grande Americano, Vikingo could also show up to thwart his chances in the ladder match.

4. Hikuleo

Hikuleo, brother of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, has yet to debut on WWE programming since signing from NJPW last year.
Clearly, the former IWGP Tag Team Champion’s Bloodline family ties make him the natural next addition to Solo Sikoa’s faction.
With Solo set for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the stage is perfectly set for Hikuleo’s long-awaited arrival.
Could the towering 6’8” Tongan debut and help Sikoa secure the briefcase?

3. Ace Austin

It was reported last month that TNA standout Ace Austin had departed the company after a six year stint.
A former X-Division and Tag Team Champion, the 28-year-old both exudes charisma and in-ring skill.
While a stop in NXT seems likely, the timing appears right for WWE to sign and introduce him on a big stage.
Despite seeming more like an NXT signee rather than main roster, an Austin debut — via vignette, pre-show segment, or front-row spot would be an excellent way to push him as a star from the jump.

2. Mike D Vecchio & Aigle Blanc

It was reported last month that WWE plans to sign top European talents Mike D Vecchio and Aigle Blanc.
Both men have impressed on the European indie scene, as well as recently in All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Champion Carnival tournament.
Their reported signings appear to be tied to the long-anticipated launch of NXT Europe.
If plans for the brand are almost ready, there’s always the chance we could see both men shown off at Money in the Bank as part of an official announcement of its launch.

1. Joe Hendry

Arguably, WWE has never given so much spotlight to a non-contracted talent as they have to Joe Hendry this year.
Despite coming up short in his big WWE matches, he’s managed to become a breakout star with their audience – who respond to him like one of their own.
An official announcement of his signing feels all but inevitable at this point.
And if it happens, and he appears at Money in the Bank, you can bet the fans inside the Intuit Dome will be more than ready to “say his name”!
