With the potential to bolster star power even further on WWE programming, there could be several new WWE Championships coming soon.
From adding a new title to WWE to match those in other companies or something entirely different, there could be some interesting additions coming in 2026.
Here are six potential new WWE Championships.
6. WWE Mixed Tag Team Championship

While not established yet in WWE, there is some precedence for the possibility to see a WWE Mixed Tag Team Championship introduced in the future.
With the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship already being held by WWE stars Chelsea Green and Ethan Page, there is a definite possibility that similar titles could come to the main roster.
Since there are numerous mixed tag team pairings including real life couples like Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins, AJ Lee & CM Punk and Zelina Vega & Aleister Black featuring in the company, there are plenty of platonic partnerships as well.
With the likes of Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest, Finn Balor & Liv Morgan and more, there could be some very interesting matches and rivalries that come from the introduction of a mixed tag title.

5. WWE Speed Tag Team Championship

While the WWE Speed titles have been relegated at this point to being singles titles, there could be an intriguing element added if there were also tag team titles up for grabs.
Keeping the abbreviated match time, the time allotment could double accordingly with the introduction of tag titles going from three minutes (or five minutes for title matches) to six minute qualifiers with a ten minute title bouts.
With plenty of tag teams that could be amazing in the division like Street Profits, Fraxiom and the Creed Brothers, there could be an entirely new set of storylines that kick off.
Likely to be captured via a tournament to crown the inaugural winners, the nod should certainly go to PENTA & Rey Fenix with the reunion of the Lucha Brothers in WWE possible in a brand new way.

4. WWE Trios Championship

Certainly with plenty of potential contenders to capture the titles, there could be some enjoyable surprise new pairings in addition to stables.
Either an accolade set for the men’s or women’s divisions, there could be some enjoyable and unexpected teams that come together.
Able to bring together three singles stars or a tag team with a brand new ally, there are some options that could be very enjoyable.
With the likes of Wyatt Sicks, Judgment Day, MFTs and the Bloodline able to compete for the trios championship in the men’s division alone, brand new teams could spring forth as well.

3. WWE Canadian Championship

While WWE isn’t necessarily in need of another men’s singles title, one could be introduced largely as a storyline detail.
With a number of proud Canadians on the WWE roster, it could be time to introduce a WWE Canadian Championship.
Possibly held for a very long time by an inaugural winner like Chris Jericho or Kevin Owens, the title could end up being synonymous with a single wrestler for a spell.
With the potential to book the United States Champion against the Canadian Champion to establish the best in North America, there are possibilities for this new title.

2. WWE Super Heavyweight Championship

To borrow a phrase from Big E, this division could be all about big meaty men slapping meat as there is a growing division of massive sized stars in WWE engaged in serious combat.
Perhaps best launched by Brock Lesnar or Oba Femi, there could be a less serious future ahead for the title down the road.
Able to incorporate potential attraction appearances from known Sumo stars or even NFL linebackers, the WWE Super Heavyweight Championship could end up becoming the new version of the 24/7 Championship.
Able to change hands easily and to potentially those who don’t even quite fit the bill, there could certainly be a season where the title sees an unlikely winner like Nathan Frazier, Johnny Gargano or Axiom attempt to outrun competition from the likes of Bronson Reed or Omos for the title.

1. WWE Women’s World Tag Team Championship

While the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles continue to float across all three brands (WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT), there could certainly be room for another set.
With the ability for potentially one tag title to be anchored on the main roster with another spread across competition in NXT and TNA Wrestling, there could be a fun expansion that ends up setting off an inter-brand showdown.
Since there are plenty of three-woman teams on the WWE roster as well including the Secret Hervice, Judgment Day and Fatal Influence, there is also a case to be made that instead of another set of tag titles, the women’s division could host a trios championship.
Able to bring together unexpected groups as well as established factions, there could be some fascinating stories that come forward from another set of multi-woman team titles in WWE.
